Bruce's Canned Yams Cut Sweet Potatoes in Syrup, 15 oz , Can

These are big chunks of beautiful yams. They are NOT a can of mush. Some brands are soft piles of mush, these are big, beautiful, flavorful, yams that served a LOT of people that loved them. I will only buy Bruce's Yams in the future. They are great!

These sweet potatoes are almost as good as fresh. A great tasting and easy to prepare alternative when I don't have the time or energy to prepare fresh sweet potatoes. I add a little butter, some salt and light brown sugar. Heat them up in my microwave and just mash it. Love it.

I love sweet potatoes. I usually roast about four big ones, with lots of cinnamon and a tablespoon of pure maple syrup. I cook them til soft, but still firm. That way, I have three other nights to heat them up with out worrying about texture. But worst,comes to worse, I cream them and bake as a casserole. Bruce's takes all this prep and time wasted, and turns it into a pretty good substitute. Some times I would prefer to have larger chunks in the cans, but it all tastes great. Camping right now and wanted something healthy but needing no heat to prepare and these Bruce's canned sweet potatoes are already cooked and able to be eaten directly from the can. And, oh, let me mention how delicious they are.

I love sweet potatoes or yams cut up and canned in syrup. It is a tasty, nutritional vegetable side-dish for turkey, chicken, ham, roast beef or just about any entree. You don't have to save these for Thanksgiving or Xmas. My family will serve them any Sunday dinner.

One of my favorite dishes at Thanksgiving is the sweet potatoes. That's why I treat myself often to a quick meal with Bruce's canned yams. Living alone, all I need is a can of yams in a microwave-safe dish, covered with a little brown sugar and marshmallows to create a delicious meal any day of the week.

They were ok. Not my favorite. They really didn't have a real sweet taste. Also really hard. Like they were picked before their time. Normally I like them. Not this time.

Plenty of juice with the yams. Quite in soft in texture but have a good taste. Not overly sweet. Easy to open, easy to heat. I would purchase these again.

I ordered two cans of yams. I only received one and as the photo shows. The condition was so bad due to being shipped in a thin plastic bag that a can opener wouldn't even be able to open the can. I got a total refund but I had no yams, of course and I still don't watch out because I was supposed to get free shipping and they had also added the shipping to my bill, check your bills for the shipping if you have paid the fee for free shipping in your membership.

Ordered five cans, three out of five were dented really bad. I order for pick up so I don't have to put husband in wheel chair to bring into store with me.
