Bush's Large Butter Beans Beans, Canned Butter Beans, 16 oz Can

People what is the difference between butter beans-taste, texture and what you want to pair with it. I grew up in the country . We rarely had a meal without beans in it. Butter beans are a smoother textured bean, larger in size goes well with any meat but does well with a steak/roast. I like it with chicken as well. It fills out a fish meal as a side. Or goes well with a meal that has hominy in it. It is a starch so if you are watching your diet, beware.. .but I just plain ole like them.

You cannot go wrong with some butter beans as your side dish! Bush's butter beans are the best and have the best flavor to them. Almost as good as homemade butter beans!

I love these butter beans! I can't even cook them any better. Put a small piece of jowl bacon in them while they are warming up with a tablespoon of bacon grease, add cornbread with butter you've got some of the best eating anywhere!

Never knew these existed until very recently. They're just skinned lima beans and I LOVE lima beans. Love them even more this way. They are literally buttery soft.

I found out Butter Beans are the same plant as Lima Beans, and they are usually just picked at different stages of maturity. So, it all came down to taste and texture to me. In my opinion, Bush's Butter Beans have very little flavor and too soft of a texture. This item is nothing like their other beans that are loaded with flavor.

Do not order canned goods from WALMART.. More often than not the cans are ALWAYS DENTED and always at the bottom or top rim.. Employees just grab a can or cans without looking at them for dents.. it's easy to check, but they simply don't care..best to get canned goods at another store..if there was a zero star, I would do that..

I don't understand every time I order Margaret Holmes butter beans they always send me these cans of bush butter beans I haven't opened one of the cans yet and I've been ordering Margaret butter beans for at least five to six months so tomorrow I will make a phone call so y'all can get your Busch butter beans bag and I need a full retail for all these cans y'all keep sending me that I don't want
