I absolutely LOVE ❤️ pork-n-beans and Van Camp's are the best value as far as price compared to other brands. They are always fresh and depending on whether or not warmth is a must have for you, you can eat them room temperature right out the can. My favorite way to eat them is with cut up hotdogs added to them making them not only delicious but AWESOME SAUCE!

pork and beans van camp are really good beans I have tried other brands but I believe I like this brand better if you have never tried them I would advise you to try them . I get where I like to eat them cold with fried potatoes and they're good even warm too. and a really good side dish for when you going to barbecue

Best overall in value and taste! I purchased 3 brands Van Camp's (This One), Cambell's, and Bush's Showboat. Van Camp's is the winner! Tastes great and comes in a standard 15 oz can and compared to Campbell's and showboat is cheaper by a lot. Campbell's was last on my list for taste and value and was way overpriced for the undersized can. I will be buying this one from now on!

In the US this is the standard upon which all basic "pork and beans" should be judged. Almost classic label and logo make it easy to select. One small warning is that you might want to drain the can so that the excess liquid is removed, making the beans tidier on a plate. From childhood i have avoided the piece of pork fat that i suppose is there to keep things legal. I don't even recall seeing this white blob lately. Fine with me. If you want pork, add your own in the form of hot dogs or cooked straight pork.

Weve tried value brands from Aldi and Walmart, but really, in our opinion, Van DeKamps beans are the better brand. The taste is good and the texture is right. (other brands are not juicy or saucy enough). My Englishman hubby says they are closest to the Heinz beans he ate in England, however, slightly more sugar content. I agree. We like to add half a can of diced tomatoes, or use fresh tomatoes, mixed into a large bowl of Van DeKamps beans to serve with bacon and eggs. He also likes "beans on toast" and prefers this brand over all others. Great to take camping too!

I have used Van Camp's Pork and Beans for more than 50 years! My oldest child will be 55 years old in a couple of months! I have always preferred the taste and texture of Van Camp's over other brands. I have never gotten a bad batch! I have always served Van Camp's Pork and Beans to my family (husband and four children). The taste of the tomato sauce and the texture of the beans are excellent! I have grown to rely on this product and its consistently great taste! Thank you, Van Camp's, for creating such a wonderful product for all to enjoy!

Sometimes you get a can and the beans are undercooked. The beans are hard and crunchy. The flavor is very bland, like some of the spices are missing. There is too much tomato sauce in the can. I have to add a little brown sugar to improve the flavor. The quality has really been lowered.

The photo of the beans showed a pull tab on the lid. The cans we received did not have a pull tab lid. We try to buy cans with pull tabs on lids because it's more convenient for the homeless who do not usually have access to a can opener. This shipment was disappointing because of no pull tabs on the lids. The price was fair.

Absolutely disgusting!!! I grew up eating pork and beans and have always loved them!! But these taste awful. At first I thought it was a bad can and tried a second, turns out the recipe has been changed and now they taste horrid. ALSO I received damaged and dented cans. Not pleased one bit. I will definitely be seeking out other brands.
