Libby's Canned Cut Green Beans, 14.5 oz Can

Moved on to this brand after a different popular brand was tasting awful %26 bitter so often, no matter how they were cooked. I was happily surprised about the pleasant, gentle flavor of this brand! This is how cut green beans are supposed to look and taste! I'm very happy I switched to Libby's!

if you really like green beans and dont mind them in a can, these are really good. slightly firm, not soggy. i buy these all the time. the Delmonte brand is a lot more expensive, dont bother buying them when Libbys is so much less expensive and taste the same

Libbys green beans I bought because the store brand I usually get have been terrible lately. The Libbys didn't have a bunch of stems and ends. I'll be buying these from now on.

I sauté a cut up piece of bacon in a saucepan until lightly browned then add green beans keeping the bacon grease in the pan. I let it simmer to absorb the bacon taste and cook down all that juice. I stir occasionally to get the bacon crispys loosened up off the bottom.

I also like frozen green beans but in actuality, I prefer the canned beans. Green beans is my number one vegetable. In the canned green beans I like to add some bacon bits and some onion slices and let them cook for maybe 20 minutes at the most. The shelf life is usually over a year, but they don't last that long in my cupboard. I think if you tried these, it would really like them.

I only buy Libby‘s brand green beans. I have bought off brands but when I found a worm in a can I stopped. I'm sure there are good off brands but I don't go can't got wrong with Libby‘s. I add a pat of butter and some garlic powder. then I cut up some onions and tomato and put them on top . Voilà, a delicacy.. Also, they are not as salty as other brands. They're always priced better too.

These are the best green beans. The price is reasonable. They are better than more expensive ones. I made green bean casserole for thanksgiving dinner. All the guests were very complimentary on it. Says it was the best they had ever eaten. It was the Libby's green beans.

We fed these to our pups and they love them, these are more green than any other canned green bean I have purchased, they cost a little more

I like the product. No problem. The problem is that as part of the order, I receive dented cans. Dented cans cannot be sold due to possibility of food poisoning. So, I have to discard the dented cans, (about 1/3) of the order and average out the cost over the usable remainder. Increases the cost to me. This is just a way of Walmart transferring losses on dented cans to me, the customer.
