I do enjoy them very much and they are excellent. You can't go wrong with Bush's Country Style. The sauce is thick, rich, and has the perfect balance of sweet brown sugar and savory bacon flavor. The beans are always tender, never mushy. The 28 oz can is a great value and easily feeds a crowd. Highly recommend for your next cookout
There are baked beans and then there are baked beans. Bush's have done something brilliant. They've taken essentially one product and made lots more out of them. I'm not sure how many there are maybe a dozen or so. I've tried several, not all of them, but for me, this is the best of the bunch. I don't really get the purpose of grillin beans. You can't put beans on a grill. They fall through the holes. It all depends if you like your beans, savory or sweet. I like a combination of balance. And this particular one, the country style I think provides a good balance. What I like about these as well as they're fully cooked. So if you're hungry, and you can't wait, you can just spoon them right out of the can.
Made these for Christmas dinner, added a little bit of bacon, a little white sugar, some black pepper baked in the oven a perfect addition to a beautiful Dearborn, sliced ham. These beans are consistent with flavor, quality, and always the right thickness.. when you open a can you get a can full, of actual beans.
pork jowel cubed and crispy, save that oil added chopped peppers, onion and garlic added some of my favorite salsa some dejohn mustard kielbasa French cut bite size browned dark red kidney beans drained 1 can of your favorite Bush's melt some of your favorite cheese (I used cream cheese) eat hot or cold
We have loved the beans for years. However, our can openers hate the cans! they are difficult to open with an electric open and my arthritis makes it hard to use a manual opener.
No better flavors, no better bean taste, no better bean texture. Bush's has conquered a once very boring market. Baked beans are great, but never something to get excited over. Bush's changed that. The flavors rock, and will actually improve whatever you pair them with. Country Style is my own personal fave.
Bush beans are my favorite brand of beans! Their black beans with seasoning or chili beans with seasoning are delicious as well. These are gluten free and the value for the size of the large can is excellent as well. I love eating these with a hamburger and fries or with mac and cheese!
For me to give a product 5 stars, is rare. I was over my in-law's house for supper, when I first tried this product. The parents really like Busch beans but I've never been a fan after eating their chili beans. So I normally buy an off brand. The flavor of the sauce in these beans is a little thin, but the flavor was a hit with me at once. I tried Camps and thought it was too ketchupy and wimpy. So I was not interested in buying canned bake beans up to that point. But after eating Busch's country style barbecue beans, which reminded me of a local barbecue place called, Gant's, I was sold. This product is a great second best to Gants. Like the other viewer, I will wait until they go on sale, because the price of this product is more than I want to pay for baked beans.
Dented can
My Bush beans single can order was dropped. It's hard to believe that among 4-5 varieties of Bush beans were all gone. When I shopped in person, there was always a dozen or more cans left on a (stocking day) Saturday. So what happened to the shopper that Sunday after July 4th?
