I mix Bush's Country Style Beans with Jimmy Dean Sausage (I use Italian) and chopped up bacon pieces, both fully cooked. Sprinkle in a few jalapenos. before placing the mixture in the oven for 25 minutes at 350 degrees. Let it cool before serving and prepare yourself for the greatest taste explosion ever. Very delicious.
pork jowel cubed and crispy, save that oil added chopped peppers, onion and garlic added some of my favorite salsa some dejohn mustard kielbasa French cut bite size browned dark red kidney beans drained 1 can of your favorite Bush's melt some of your favorite cheese (I used cream cheese) eat hot or cold
There are baked beans and then there are baked beans. Bush's have done something brilliant. They've taken essentially one product and made lots more out of them. I'm not sure how many there are maybe a dozen or so. I've tried several, not all of them, but for me, this is the best of the bunch. I don't really get the purpose of grillin beans. You can't put beans on a grill. They fall through the holes. It all depends if you like your beans, savory or sweet. I like a combination of balance. And this particular one, the country style I think provides a good balance. What I like about these as well as they're fully cooked. So if you're hungry, and you can't wait, you can just spoon them right out of the can.
Made these for Christmas dinner, added a little bit of bacon, a little white sugar, some black pepper baked in the oven a perfect addition to a beautiful Dearborn, sliced ham. These beans are consistent with flavor, quality, and always the right thickness.. when you open a can you get a can full, of actual beans.
We have loved the beans for years. However, our can openers hate the cans! they are difficult to open with an electric open and my arthritis makes it hard to use a manual opener.
No better flavors, no better bean taste, no better bean texture. Bush's has conquered a once very boring market. Baked beans are great, but never something to get excited over. Bush's changed that. The flavors rock, and will actually improve whatever you pair them with. Country Style is my own personal fave.
Sent damages cans. 3 out of 4 are dented.
I love Bush beans! I’ve bought them for years and will continue. This was an online shopping order. This was a damaged can that could possibly have even a small hole that could leak air into the can and cause food poisoning. I don’t buy damaged canned food no matter what the product is! It’s not safe and should not be on the shelves for sale! I’m coming into the store for a refund and buy another can of Bush Beans.
These beans are seasoned with pork bacon. We do not eat pork bacon.
These normally delicious beans were mouldy due to a badly dented can some time ago. Then the Walmart employee put it in our curbside pickup order
