Bush's Homestyle Baked Beans, Canned Beans, 28 oz Can

This 28 oz can of Bush's Homestyle Baked Beans is the perfect ready-to-eat side—tender navy beans slow-cooked in a thick, tangy-sweet sauce with real bacon and brown sugar. A recent shipment included 4 cans of Bush's beans, with some soft items. 2 of the bean cans were badly smashed, and I had to use pliers to straighten the least damaged end so that I could open them with a regular can opener. The beans were fine. My concern is this ;- since there was no damage to the carton, or the other goods in the carton, Walmart must have packed these cans knowing they were badly damaged. I tried to send a comment to Walmart, but couldn't complete my short message. I give the beans 5 stars, and congratulate Bush's beans for making beans a category, instead of a boring single can of beans for sale! I give Walmart minus five stars, for knowingly sending defective product to a customer.

My local HOA had several contests on Halloween this year. One was a farting contest. I ended up winning loudest, and best smell. All thanks to the Bush's baked beans. I ate two cans 2 hours before the contest. My husband was so so proud.

This is my family's very favorite baked bean brand and flavor: thick and a little sweet. Whether a side dish or as part of beans n franks, Bush's Homestyle Baked Beans are just delicious. I stock up when on sale!

I purchased this product on my own to try it at home, and I want to share my experience. Bush's Best Original Classic with Bacon & Brown Sugar beans make cooking so much faster when you need to whip up a quick meal. They are perfect to pair with dishes like rice or vegetables. Since it is such a versatile product, it allows you to add other ingredients to your own taste to customize it.The can size is very appropriate for family portions. The texture of the beans is incredibly soft, which we absolutely loved. Keep in mind, though, that the sugary flavor is quite noticeable due to the brown sugar it contains. If you do not like a sweet touch in your beans, you might not enjoy them, but for my family, that sweet spot was a total hit. We served them this way recently and everyone liked it. As it says on the can: Bean Appétit!

When ordering this product, I was unaware these beans had tomato sauce in them.My mistake - I missed the ingredients listed on front of the can. Despite my personal dislike of tomato sauce in baked beans, I was pleasantly surprised to find they were tasty.

These Bush's beans were just too sweet. There was not the seasoning like in their other varieties that add good flavor to the beans. If you just want sweetness, then this might be your choice, but they tasted sweeter than any homemade beans from me. The texture was soft and tender, while the sauce was just sugary, in my opinion. Not recommended for a diet, that's for sure.
