Love that GV has organic options, especially in bulk. I love chick peas. Add to salads with artichoke hearts and cucumber, make a 3 bean salad with green and kidney, roast as snacks. The healthy possibilities are endless. These are great texture and value

Best part for me is, the Chick Pea Garbanzo Beans are organic. For a great addition to my meal, I just put some in a small bowl, cut them up with a fork, and heat them in the microwave. Of course, I then top them with Ken's Steak House Thousand Dressing. This makes a great addition to my meal and a good source of protein.

I highly recommend this Walmart brand of garbanzo organic beans. It has great taste and I don't think it's too salty and the texture is just right. I find it very convenient to use when I don't have time to cook my own dried garbanzo beans. I just open the can and pour it into soups and I love making hummus with it. There are so many other recipes that you can make that are delicious with garbanzo beans as well. This is definitely a go to purchase every week when I go to Walmart!

I drain these In a srainer and rinse them out then pan fry them in some olive oil with some organic spinach, maybe with some mozzarella of I'm feeling sassy. I love it --not for everyone I'm sure. garbanzos take so long to boil I prefer buying the cans. my dogs like these too -- good for dogs. might make them gassy.

I like the fact that these are organic chic peas,garbonzo beans, that taste very good in a bean salad with kidney beans or any other bean you might like! My pantry is always well stocked with organic chic peas that can be made with quinoa! Add your preferred dressing and you have a side dish that is good for you!

Hard to properly judge taste of garbanzos since I am not fond of them and mostly eat them as hummus. However, my current health diet requires i eat more of certain foods to replace others I should either eat less or not at all. However, if I have to justifhy an honest rating, I would reveal that one consistent shortcoming of most Great Vaue canned products excessive proportion of mostly unneeded liquid to actual veggie contents.

I was super excited about non GMO organic garbanzo beans but was sorely disappointed in these because the beans are a little on the hard side. I don't know if it was just this batch or if it's a regular thing. My dinner guests complained that the center of the beans wasn't fully cooked and I agree. Now I'm hesitant about buying these again.

Can buy many items but the grocery section has before horrible. In particular the produce. Have had to walk out and go elsewhere for fresh produce. So much of the vegetables are old, rotted, etc. especially in this season. I noticed this last winter in particular and thought with spring and summer it would improve but seems to be the direction Walmart grocery is going. Will be moving to other options for grocery and especially produce.

Read the Walmart description for Great Value Organic Chick Pea Garbanzo Beans, 15 oz Can and under "Warnings" it says, "MAY CONTAIN TRACES OF MILK, EGGS, WHEAT AND SOY." I have allergies to these foods! I got these cans using Walmart grocery pickup. The cans my Shopper picked were dented. When I put the contents into a fine mesh strainer to rinse the chickpeas, every one of the chickpeas shed its skin -- so I had to pick out lots and lots of skins to the degree that I wondered if there was something wrong with this can's chickpeas. Usually there are 3 or 4 loose skins to pick out. These chickpeas looked smaller than usual in size. I tasted one and it was tender but it did not have any flavor. I won't buy this brand again.
