Red Star Savory Nutritional Yeast Flakes, 5 oz Shaker, Contains Soy

This brand of nutritional yeast is found in many supermarkets. The quality is very good. The price a bit high??? However and honestly, the price of nutritional yeast, in my buying history, has never been on the low price scale.

I have always loved nutritional yeast, but this is far better tasting over any brand I have ever tried. Not only is it a B vitamin/ amino acid super healthy additive to your meals, (and don't forget your pets!) but far superior in every way, especially to the bulk stuff in some markets. Give this a try...you won't be disappointed!!

tastes so great I have to try to not use too much. Might be a great salt substitue? I think this may be a good value money wise too. I usually eat a half teaspoon at a time for a food supplement. I just eat it off the spoon. Love the taste! Have not had any problem with clumping or spoiling keep it on the counter. should be great on a salad and many other foods.

I use this mainly on popcorn and some veggies for added flavor. I have tried many different brands and this one by far has the best flavor. It has a cheesy flavor without being overwhelming.

As a prepper. let me say that nutritional yeast is an “apocalypse pantry” staple and I've done the legwork to find the best tasting yeast for the best value. I've tried every brand available and by far, Red Star is the favorite of everyone in my home. What was meant to be a prepper staple turned into a daily use product for us. We eat it almost daily, on popcorn, pizza, cheesy pasta, potatoes…it's something we can't do without. Will continue to purchase in perpetuity.

Trying to reduce salt intake... this works perfect with popcorn. Making popcorn a very healthy snack!

This an old fashion heath product in my family. I sprinkle on some dishes in place of Parmesan cheese as it has a similar flavor.

Some say it's like cheese but to me it's like fried chicken. That is very tasty but as you can imagine limits what I can mix it with . It's good in chix gravy that's for sure. Other times I just mix with water and take a big spoonful while holding my nose to cancel the flavor out, then brush my teeth .
