"JIFFY" Honey Corn Muffin Mix, 8.5 oz Box

I’ve made cornbread many different ways but this little box of cornbread mix is amazing! It takes five minutes to mix. Add an egg mix then add 1/3 cup of milk or water to the mix and stir… it doesn’t matter. Now let it sit while your oven heats up. It doesn’t matter what you cook it in… a muffin pan, a baking dish or cake or pie pan, an iron skillet, whatever you prefer. I use a greased iron skillet to bake the mix so I put the iron skillet in the oven while it is heating. I use a small amount of extra oil but as long as the skillet is greased and hot that’s all you need for the bottom of the cornbread to get nice and crunchy. It doesn’t get any easier than that!

Good ole reliable. I do add a little fat (sour cream, oil, or melted butter) for more moistness %26 less crumbly. Im 60 something and my dad would make these for breakfast when I was a child. Now make them with my toddler grandson, he loves it! Making memories!

I’ve always loved the corn mix and I know prices are going up. It’s just a little high sometimes to pay way over $1.79 for one little cornbread especially when you’re on a fixed income and get no help like I am but I do love your product And at 72. I have to pinch pennies.

I am a BIG FAN of everything Jiffy makes. I've had all of them. Never been disappointed. This cornbread muffin mix is my favorite because I always have blueberries that I add into the batter (add the blueberries at the last minute so they don't turn your batter 'gray'), AND I only make BIG muffins. YES, BLUEBERRIES IN CORNBREAD!!! One box will make 4 big "real nice size" muffins. Right out of the oven.....Throw on some butter and alittle maple syrup and you got a meal!! Serious. You just can't beat jiffy. Always reliable, been around for YEARS, and always a great price. If you are single, Jiffy mixes are something you just need to keep around in the pantry!!! Its like an automatic thing you gotta have! You can do this!!...they make it real easy for you to MAKE IT YOURSELF.

This is a great corn muffin mix. Is very affordable and always goes on sale. You use minimal ingredients and is simple to bake. The texture and taste are good for its price. You can also make it as a cake of muffin shape.

I have used this Jiffy corn bread mix for decades. My family loves it. I use it in casseroles, baked as is for a side with greens, a pot of beans, and more. Recently, I've started making my own breads crackers tortillas and such from scratch. My attempt at healthier options and a more self sufficient lifestyle for my family. I was on my Walmart app, searching for corn meal, to use in making cornbread from scratch. This 24 pack of jiffy popped up in my search, and at a little over $11 for 24 boxes ! it was such a great deal, I ordered it instead. While I do hope that they keep this great price, I will still be buying the corn meal, to add to the ingredients that I already have for making my bread, muffins, and other baked products, to learn and perfect my skills. If Walmart keeps this price on this case, I will also buy it, to use on days that I'm very busy, or need a quick side. Thank you, Walmart for this option. It has blessed me and my family.

A great starter base for cornbread recipes. I often modify it for savory or sweet recipes. My most common is a yummy cornbread fruit cobbler: 1) Spread your favorite canned fruit or pie filling. 2) In a separate bowl add 1 box Jiffy mix, 1/2 C. Brown Sugar, 1 C Oatmeal and 1 Stick Melted UNSALTED butter and mix all ingredients together until combined with a spoon. 3) Spoon cornbread mixture onto the top of your baking sheet of fruit. 4) I generally bake it at 350 degrees for anywhere from 45 minutes to 1 hour, until the mix turns a golden brown. 5) Serve cobbler with Vanilla ice-cream, whipped cream or even plain yogurt. It's up to you! Enjoy.

I have purchased Jiffy cornbread mix for years and been very satisfied. However, the last few boxes I have purchased have been terrible! Didn’t rise properly and was absolutely tasteless. I WILL NOT BE PURCHASING THIS PRODUCT AGAIN! I DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING THE CORNBREAD MIX!!!😩

THIS PRODUCT FROM JIFFY IS BY FAR THE WORSE THING I HAVE EVER TASTED. I DON'T KNOW IF IT IS BECAUSE IT HAS HONEY ALREADY IN IT. WHEN COOKED, THIS MUFFIN MIX IS HARD AS A ROCK. I HAVE NEVER TASTED OR TRY TO EAT ANYTHING THIS HARD. PLEASE DON'T BOTHER TO BUY THIS. I FEEL YOU ARE BETTER OFF PUTTING YOUR OWN HONEY IN THE REGULAR JIFFY. ( I ACTUALLY WAS DOING THAT BEFORE I TRIED THE JIFFY FOR HONEY)
