Allfenz 60" Landscaping Polyethylene Garden Stakes (10 Pack)

I use these as horizontal pieces to connect towers made from similar material. These serve as extensions for my Tower Garden, to guide the vines from tomatoes, peas, cantaloupes, cucumbers, attached with garden string.

First the bad: These bend kind of easily. But then, they are 5 feet long. while they don't hold up to abuse, they will last a few years with proper care. On the upside, they are inexpensive enough that it won't break you if a few of them fold on you, and have to be thrown away. Two of them, on either side of a tomato plant is not enough to provide good support once the tomatoes develop. However, three of them (in a triangle) seem to handle the weight just fine. The plastic coating holds up surprisingly well. It can spend the entire summer in the sun without fading to a sickly powder green. If you're trying to pound these stakes into rocky, or really hard ground, you will end up cutting through the plastic cap on the top (but what do you expect). Order more than you plan on using because you'll keep finding more places to use these stakes than what you planned for. Tip: Two of these stakes, with a string tied between them, make planting, seed or starters, in a straight line, a breeze.

Good very sturdy product - I recommend it.

worked great to keep tomatoes off ground as very heavy crop this year

High quality garden stakes for a fair price. Much more durable than bamboo garden stakes which eventually snap with sun and moisture.

These garden stakes are wonderful. They're sturdy and have rubber tips at the bottom and top that stay put. At six feet tall they are perfect to keep my tall tomato plants in place (I attach the stems with twine). There are 10 to a pack, plenty for my garden. Have confidence purchasing them, plus they're a great buy.

These stakes are made of hollow steel tubes coated in vinyl. The are easy to push into sand or soft dirt but in harder ground, don't hammer them or they will bend. For harder ground, use something solid to hammer a hole for stake. Love the 5' height of these for tall tomato plants.

These stakes have a very large sticker on the top of the stake. It's impossible to remove and ugly. These things are useless if you don't want a half removed sticker look on every staked plant.

I use them to stake my tomatoes instead of cages. They work very well, however, they will snap in half if the ground is not freshly tilled. Several broke when I tried to put them in the ground as the tomatoes needed more support. I like being able to reuse them next year. They need to put a warning about placing them in soft soil only. I used 3 around each plant and then garden twine as needed. Next year I will use 4 per plant though I may not need too for each plant.

these stakes arw junk they dont go into the ground and break when you try. very unhappy
