I love this mascara. It gives me lashes with nice length and it washes off very easy. I haven't had any smudging or flaking. It looks very pretty. I have extremely sensitive eyes and this is one of the few mascaras I can wear, as it is very comfortable.
I've only used it a couple of times so far but I'm loving it! I have very sensitive eyes that get very itchy when I use most mascara. This one so far doesn't cause the same reaction and still stays on like traditional waterproof mascara unlike the other "sensitive skin" brands I've tried before.
This Mascara is hands down THE BEST!! I have Super Sensitive Eyes & there is Absolutely NO IRRITATION whatsoever. The brush is gr8, Applies perfectly, Lashes are full & long. BTW using the non waterproof formula. Easily removed with micellar H20. Love Love Love
I was quite surprised to see all these negative reviews, as i am super happy with mine, i use blackest black and dark brown. I got my first Multi Benefit Mascara as a fee sample with an order of contactlenses 2 or 3 years ago. When i was about to throw it away with the other free samples a colleague saw it and told me that she is already using it and that it is the best mascara when you wear contacts, so i gave it a try. I have tried many brand mascaras as well in that time, but none have proven as good for me as this one. No irritated eyes, almost no panda eyes in the morning when i dont remove my make-up before sleep, no little black particles smeared on my contacts that burn in my eyes, a good amount of volume and lennth even on my really short lashes. I love it, and i will stay with it .
[Employee of walmartcanada] I got this free from Influenster and have to say it does work rather well, I don't find it makes my eyelashes look super long and you have to be careful applying it or it can clump your lashes together. But overall I would use it again
I do thank you for fragrance free, but am very disappointed in Almay. 1) Why can't you make a brush that fits tightly in the tube so that when it's removed the bristles rub tightly against the tube and hold only enough mascara to coat lashes, instead of your loose fit that allows way too much goopy mascara that I have to wipe it off the brush with a tissue? It's like a paint brush dripping with paint that one applies to a wall without wiping excess off so it doesn't drip down the wall. Women with dry and sensitive eyes do not want extra gobs on lashes for one thing and I should I not believe its intentionally wasteful by the manufacture? 2) Why can't you make it really clear, which are washable and which are waterproof? And which are fiber-free. I find the packaging of your blue, pink, turq and white confusing. Not sure which of yours are most sensitive compared to your hypoallergenic but delivers volume, length!!! but hopefully without any fibers? Is black brown 503 the only washable one? Why would one shade be waterproof in a genre of sensitive eyes you're promoting? Is it impossible for you to write it on the packaging in a good readable size font? So many new products on shelves these days, it takes so much time to find what you THINK you're looking for. I for one with dry and sensitive eyes want only fragrance-free, washable, fiber-free and would appreciate and applaud you for making the choice easy to find. I've bought Almay for many years, but am actively looking for another.
I couldn't find this mascara at my Walmart so decided to order it online. When it arrived, the case was in different colors and the product seemed pretty dry - like it was and older version.
I have been using the Almay mascara in the blue tube for a long time. It always went on nicely and was easy to remove with a make-up remover. Also it didn't irritate my eyes like some others. Recently I bought a new tube but it is not the same. It's so difficult to remove! I have to soak it with 2-3 applications of make-up remover and it still clings to my lashes. It's harder to get off than the waterproof version which I use on occasion. I will have to try another hypoallergenic mascara since I cannot tolerate using this one anymore.
I've been using Almay for almost 40 years and have never had an issue until this mascara. It comes out all goopy (for lack of a better word) on the wand and makes such a mess on the lashes. I thought it was just the one I bought a while back so decided to try it again and the same thing happened. It's not a good product and changed to a different Almay mascara.
This was my first time buying Almay Mascara and it was not what I was expecting. It does not glide well over my lashes, its not smooth (it slightly clumps) and it's not buildable to create volume. I was very disappointed. I always buy Almay's eyeliner crayon and liquid eyeliner and I love them! so I had high expectations.
