Almay Smart Shade Skintone Matching Makeup, 400 Medium Meets Deep

WOW! I didn't think this would really do what it claimed, almost white cream that will adjust to your skin and completely match your color? IT DID! It went on so light and creamy. The color change is almost immediate and it really does match my tone to give a smooth and consistant color. I would say this is a medium coverage. So cool!

This makeup is non greasy and the coverage is pretty good! It was enough to cover what I needed but still did not look as if I had a lot of makeup on. I never liked wearing make up because all foundation made me feel like I was wearing a mask. Not natural at all but when I put this on by itself nobody noticed I was wearing it! It is so lightweight and easy to use and it lasts a long time. I used to buy makeup that had to be ordered through one of their consultants and got tired of paying $$ and having to contact someone in order to get it. With this I can go straight to Walmart to get what I need!

I have always liked Almay make-up and remember buying it in department stores. This goes on smoothly and looks nothing like it does coming straight out of the tube. When it comes out, it looks very pale, but as you smooth it on it turns into a tan on your face. It is very silky feeling and has good coverage. The price is nice, too!

This is my review of Almay smart shade skin tone matching make up my shade is medium meets Deep.First thing I noticed is how it went on it's actually a gray color when you actually take it out of the tube as you can see on my first picture as soon as you start to blend it in it kind of matches your skin tone,, almost flawlessly the good thing is it's not too heavy and it's not too late that's a perfect daytime make up. I also tried it on other people that had the same coloring as me and we each got a totally different color which is a good thing so it doesn't just to your pigments, another thing is I took a bath when I tried it and it's pretty water resistant not waterproof or water resistant. It's very easily long wearing I can wear it for eight hours without reapplying and it does come off easy at night with a little soap for cleanser I definitely will be purchasing this again, Maybe in a little bit lighter shade however I'm very impressed with this make up I can't stop playing with it. It's definitely something I will recommend to my friends.

I tried out Almay Smart Shade Makeup , Make Mine Dark, however I found the color to be far too dark for my fair complexion. I did have a medium/dark skin toned friend try it out and it worked great for her but she did not prefer it over her bare minerals. It had a nice feel to it and is a great buy for the money (If you get the right tone!).

I've been using the same foundation for a long time.i recently had the chance to try something new. almay smart shades.when i first opened the tube i wasn't so sure i wanted to apply . i comes out a rather grayish color.but as it states mediun meets deep i found was about right. the color blended in nicely with my skin tone.i guess it was time for a change, yes i would recommend this make up.

Almay Smart Shade makeup medium meets deep. I had seen this makeup on the TV and in magazines found it to be in interesting and wondered how it work. So first of all it's a cute little too. And the squeeze part of it dispenses just the right amount of makeup. No more leaking makeup and tube tops that do not fit and making a mess on your work clothes before you get your day started. The makeup comes out kind of a grey white color. Reminds me of a facial clay at first. Then as you start to blend the makeup onto your skin it actually starts to take on pigment color. There are several Shades so it would be pretty easy to pick one that is closest to your skin. This makeup is not a heavy makeup it is actually pretty thin and light wearing. However my experience was playing with the blending and all that it does not cover as well as a BB cream for a Flawless matte finish. Not sure if that's what the makeup is intended to do but for me it did not. To my nose there was virtually no smell to the makeup. That is actually rather refreshing not to put extra things on my skin such as since that are in makeup and really not needed. War pretty nice through the entire day. I did get a little bit of shine after lunch. Just patted down with some powder and all is fine. It washed off quite cleanly I did not feel it had dried my skin or left residue. O'Reilly if you have pretty much Flawless skin this makeup would be great for you. Because you don't need a lot of coverage. It's one of those makeups that is easy to work with and is very light on the face. For me I have uneven skin and blemishes so I need more of a BB cream for a matte finish

I wanted to try this hoping it would change shades according to my skin color. This just wasnt the case. It first comes out sort of off white, as you rub it in, it is then that it changes colors. It changes colors to the exact shade that is shown on container. You will have to choose the best color for you skin type. There are little beadie balls when first released that contain the color, so when you rub, it changes. In my opinion, there was nothing smart about this. I could just use my regular foundation that requires less rubbing. I gave it 3 stars due to it being a very lightweight formula, which is fine for my face, but if you have any considerable damage or anything that you would need to cover up, you will need to use something more with it, or something else entirely.

I didn't like the Almay Smart Shade. I have oily skin and this does not help. It has a greasy feel to it. I ordered the “Make Mine Dark” shade and it still appeared to be a little lighter than I needed. This would be good for someone who only needs light coverage, especially on a warm day, because it does blend well. However, it left my face with an oily feel. It didn't work for me as I had hoped. I was so excited to see the deeper shades since the original ones were always too light... bummer..
