The description says its alcohol free. I checked it several times as well as the bottle. It does smell like there's alcohol in it but then I've never smelled pure aloe before. Perhaps someone who has an aloe plant will know. That's been my only concern. Other than that, I'd definitely buy it again. I put it on damp skin and gently massage or pat it into my face, neck, legs and arms.

I have only had this for two days and already am seeing a huge improvement in some skin issues I started having a few months ago. I just bought another bottle because I plan on this being my go to instead all of the useless expensive stuff I have bought over the past six months. This isn't that ineffective cheap sticky stuff you may have tried in the past that says, "Contains Aloe Vera". This product IS Aloe Vera and the difference is huge and amazing. It is worth every penny and is not expensive($20 /- for 17.6 oz) if it continues to help my skin heal like it already has begun to do in just a day or two. It works to hydrate your scalp and hair too. This is the first day in months I haven't combed out straw like dry hair that was causing itching off the top of my head. I was so worried my hair might all fall out and now I have hope it won't. My itching got SO BAD some days I didn't even care about the hair coming out like a corpse if it would just ease the dry skin itch. This stuff is a life changer for me. I am hoping it helps my hair thicken back up too and have every reason to think it might, at this point. I hope it keeps working for me. At the very least, it helps and doesn't hurt like some of the products I have tried that made my skin worse. I read there are a small percentage of people who are allergic to Aloe Vera and it causes rashes, itching, etc....So do like I did and do a small patch test first. Few things could be worse than making an itching skin condition worse.

I applied to very dry skin and my face skin looked hydrated and rested. I applied after cleansing.

This is a great moisturizer for body and face. I find out it does not soak in as good on hands and washes off during hand washing. I am a home health caregiver and wash my hands a lot. I do not recommend for busy hands.

It dries out very fast

The gel is alittle sticky and will end up having your skin dry. No moisture stays
