Bay gonna Bay ... More or less
This long-in-coming remake of a 2005 Danish flick exists mainly because Michael Bay got tired of being stuck inside his house during the pandemic. What you get here is an uneasy mix of the two phases of Bay's career. It refuses to stop moving and isn't overlong (think of 'The Rock'), but then along comes a lame, forced joke or groan-worthy slice of banter (think of anything past the first 'Transformers'). But it looks and sounds like a million bucks, so there's that.
