Cost effective AM4 upgrade
Excellent upgrade from my Ryzen 7 for the money. Just make sure you get a cooler for it. I purchased the DarkRock air cooler for AM4. My CPU Temp now at 37C. I tried the Wraith cooler that came with the Ryzen 7, but my temps were too high, and my Asus board was compensating all my fans speeds making it to loud to keep it cool. Water cooler for tuning and overclocking is highly recommended. I'm using stock speeds for my work.

Upgrades
upgraded to this from my outdated ryzen 7 1700, The performance jump was astronomical. absolutely did everything i needed it to which was remove the bottle neck on my graphics card

Replacement for one that died.
This was a replacement for one that stopped working. Just lights up motherboard without allowing to turn on the PC. Replaced it with this one, and maybe it will work forever. Its very rare for a CPU to die within a few weeks. I will update the stars later if it works for a long time, if not then 1 star. Too early to know right now.
