Kills the ant colony in 2 days. Sprinkle over the fire any mound and expect the hive to die out in 48 hours. It must taste good as the workers takes them down the hive, feed it to the queen. No - queen, no hive.
I have used Amdro for years for fire ants in Texas. I saw this on rollback for $15 and thought cool- a little bit if a price break. The size of this is laughable. I am including a picture because of how laughable it is. For context, I have tiny hands. my hands are barely bigger than my 9 year old daughters. 🤦 This didnt even have enough to treat my small back yard. 🤦🤦🤦 Spend the extra money and get the bag. Because this is a joke.
Even though we are all going through this terrible time with the virus scare, all of the items I ordered got to my home very quickly. I have been using Roundup concentrate weed killer and Amdro fire ant bait for years on my four acres. It was such a relief to get both without having to go into town or into a store to purchase them.
I noticed as soon as I sprinkled it on the mound, the ants were carrying it around like it was food, the very next day a bunch of the fire ants were dead.
GREAT PRODUCT. Ants eat the bait and take it back to nest and in about three days the entire nest is dead and since they are dead, they don't move to a different part of your yard. Great Product.
This granules work really good on all ants, not just fire ants. I love that you don't have to water it after applying. I just put about a tablespoon on each ant mount I find in my yard and by the next day the ant hill is no longer active. I have a large yard and more ant hills keep popping up so it's a little bit of the never ending game, but this product is so easy to apply. I will have to buy again 'cause it is a small container and I have a large yard. I don't have ants inside the house so I don't know if it would work there too. I do have a small chihuahua puppy and though she's curious when I apply the product I just say no when she gets close and that's it, she hasn't gotten sick or tried to eat it or anything so I think it's ok to use around dogs, but don't take my word for it. Anyways, great product and I will keep buying it, totally satisfied.
I returned this item - when it arrived it did not look as it did in the photo. Quantity was smaller than expected and I got a better deal for 4 times as much elsewhere.
Too small , too expensive and took too long to get here.
Didn't kill our fire ants. They didn't take the bait, they just left it laying there. Waste of money.
The contents bottle is almost empty. There is only about 3cm of content in this container. Horrible buy, I will definitely be returning this. The box was good and the container was sealed so no spillage , the container was almost empty. As you can see in the photo I barely open to look and it is practically empty
