Works so much better than the ones that have a yellow plastic piece that looks like cheese %26 is supposed to smell like cheese (the mice aren't attracted to those , even if you put bait on it . The mice take the bait without tripping those traps only ever caught 1 mouse . The wire frame traps from Victor are the best 9 out of ten times I check , the trap has been tripped %26 the mouse has been caught. And they are so reasonably priced I don't bother removing the mouse from the trap, I just throw the whole thing away . So if you don't want to bother with clean up %26 want a good quality trap … this is the best choice.

I love these mouse traps. They are the best you can get. I saw alot of reviews that talked about them not going off when the mouse was on them eating the bait. That is not a trap problem. Mice are extremely light and can eat peanut butter off the trap without tripping it. Solution: instead of peanut butter, super glue half a peanut to the bait area. Catches them every time!

Just your friendly Walmart employee here. So I live in the country literally surrounded by fields and that's great but one thing we have because of this is mice. This is really the only mouse trap that I will get as some of the other brands I've tried never snapped. The ease of use and the “luck” of the catch makes me recommend these.

I baited these mouse traps and within a few hours they had caught the mice that was in the house and I still have them set now. So yes I approve this item

These traps are tried and true. Poison is bad for lots of reasons. Sticky traps seem sadistic and cruel. These old style Victor traps make for an efficient quick kill.

Tried all other methods, nothing worked! These critters were in the attic and in the walls, scratching, chewing, and destroying everything. This Metal Pedal Mouse Trap eliminated the whole colony and now we are critter-free!

I ordered two rat traps which are much larger, somehow Walmart thought these tiny traps would be an acceptable substitution for delivery. As mouse traps these are 5 stars but I had to ding something for a wrong delivery I will have to return.

Traps don't set off that easy. The mice were eating the food rt off the trap. I tried every way there was. Finally i bent the little metal piece inwards n started catching mice.

Absolute garbage. I used this exact model 25 years ago to great effect. Manufacturing quality and lack of attention to detail when it comes to implementing the design makes this product an absolute failure in 2025. Extremely dangerous to use. Find an alternate product!

These traps without the yellow tray are the old fashioned ones that are easy to set. The ones with the yellow tray are junk!!! Do not buy the ones with the yellow tray!!!! They are hard as heck to set and so frustrating as all get out!!! Buy the old fashioned kind with no yellow tray and thank me later.
