We just pulled up a ten foot stretch of Shrubs and when we were done there were thousands of ant's. The next day they were all gone and I have not seen any since. My neighbors saw me spraying and asked how it worked, and went down and picked up some for themselves.
I got this Amdro quick kill, because I have carpenter bees, ants, and i'm sure termites where I live. I have actually seen carpenter bees and carpenter ants. the bees are my biggest problem. they have drilled in all my pool fence posts, you know because the bees like to hover around their nest and chase things off. so I decided to spray this all over my fence and home. well I've sprayed and I have to say I have not seen any bees. I just want to add that this also kills other bugs, there are these red bugs, I believe box elder ones, they are just everywhere, this stuff killed them too. you get a gallon of this, it does come with a trigger sprayer, so you all ready to get when you buy it. it says to be careful on the siding of your home, because it could change the color, I have siding but I sprayed it around the foundation of my home, which is brick. it also suggest that you should not spray during the hottest part of the day, again, I am not going to do that anyway. and they stress that this is not a treatment for termites, it is just like a protective coating to keep them away. I had a bug guy come out and say to me, not sure how true it is, but he told me if you have carpenter ants, you won't have termites, or vise versa they are enemies and both won't be in your home at the same time. all of them are destructive insects though. the effectiveness of this says it lasts up to 3 months, i'm sure that how much rain plays a factor in how long it last, but it's just as easy to go around and spray your home again, they give you more then enough to let you spray around your home a decent amount of times, you can also use this inside if you need it, but I did not need it inside. I would assume you need to keep pets and kids away until it dries though I don't remember reading that on the label. but it seems to be working so far.
AMDRO Quick Kill Carpenter Bee, Ant & Termite Killer I have purchased name branded and UN named brands of ant and bug killer sprays, traps and sticky traps. What a waste of money. Seemed like the more products I bought the worse the ants invaded my home. I have sugar ants, black ants, and fire ants and yes-even Termites. Then you have the spiders and other pesky insects. I started out spraying this product in one area to test it out. AND IT WORKED... The one I ordered was the gallon container that is premixed and ready to use. I have now sprayed around my house, inside and out and I am only finding very few insects and they are not moving at all. I cannot say that it has no odor but what little there is, is not unpleasant. Plus I have not noticed any staining in the areas that were sprayed. It says to redo the outside areas every 3 months and inside the house ever 12 months. But will treat if or when I see anymore-pesky bugs walking around where there shouldn't be any. I was careful to not spray where honeybees might decide to land. I do not want to hurt them. The spray trigger is easy to install and to use. Fast acting
This stuff is great for killing those fast, persistent and tough wood chewing bees. Don't waste your money on normal bug sprays. Find their nest holes and spray inside. When they return and make contact, they will be done. You will find them dead and dying on the ground.
With the warm days here we've been getting ant trails. This formula is instant kill. I sprayed on ants, wasps, and mosquitos. The handy attached trigger sprayer makes my job easier. No more mixing like with other brands. Just turn the knob, point and spray. I sprayed it around my house and the garage. It took me about 10 min. It says it give you up to 3 months protection. It works on termites too plus a list of other pests. As with any pest killer, wear protective gear.
This product is ready to use liquid that kills damaging listed insects and prevents new infestations. Targets all wood damaging pests. That would include the three major wood pests in the US. That being Carpenter Bees, Ants and Termites. Just mix the liquid concentrate with water and apply to wood surfaces with a tank sprayer. Be sure and always read instructions before using. Product is to work and lasts up to 3 months outdoors and up to 12 months indoor. The product also comes in ready to use a container with spray applicator. Non-staining and non-odor formula. Great for many types of insects. If you suspect insects use as soon as possible.
I have a two-story house that has a deck coming off the second floor. The carpenter bees are relentless in building nests on the underside of that deck. Unfortunately, there is a patio beneath and it cannot be enjoyed due to the bees. I was able to acquire the AMDRO Quick Kill Carpenter Bee, Ant & Termite Killer. This is a one gallon container and comes as a ready to use liquid. The liquid kills the insects and helps to prevent new infestations. Since using this product, I have seen an improvement in my carpenter bee infestation. I hate to kill the bees, but I don't have much choice if I want to enjoy my patio. The label says the product works for up to three months outdoors and twelve months indoors. I have only used it outdoors and for a couple weeks. So far I am pleased and think you will be too.
This is the first ready to use spray I have ever seen for carpenter bees, carpenter ants, and termites. Most chemicals for those type of insects are concentrated and have to be mixed. I am terrible at mixing chemicals and you have to have a designated sprayer to use just for that specific chemical. This pre mix is great! Well worth any extra money to have it ready to use. I have actually had carpenter ants before. They will eat away at your wood door frames before you even know you have them. This formula can be used indoor or outdoor. Another great product plus! I sprayed it both indoor and outdoors at my home. It did not have an odor to it. The label instructed usual care with spraying indoors. Such as covering dishes and cleaning eating areas after spraying. Also, do not have it in direct contact with pets. It actually kills several different types of ants and crawling pests too. The label does advise that this product be used only as a supplement for the wood damaging insects. So, if you already have an infestation, you will need additional care to get rid of it.
I used this product to control the overall pest population in and around my house. I used it on the stone facade where the wasps like to use the nooks and crannies to build nests. They disappeared after a couple of days. I sprayed the interior perimeter of my garage to address any pests entering the home via the garage door and the pests did not survive long enough to enter my house. The odor is mild and barely detectable. The sprayer can spray out in a stream about 6 feet but also has a setting for a close fan spray. I've used pesticides that kill almost instantaneously but this product is effective.
The 3 stars are for the powerfulness of the product. Which does the job 100%. But if I'm paying 20$ the spray gun needs to work correctly. It didn't work at all. Thank goodness I hadn't threw away another products spray gun yet. Had to pour this into another jug, just to use. Frustrating!!!
