I saw this and was a little skeptical since it was SO much cheaper than all the competitors. But when I got it home and put it together, it was very much better than expected. My son was just tickled to watch me build it and then get to play on it. It is sturdy and made of good American made materials. I cannot emphasize enough how much I love this product and how happy it makes my 16 month old little boy.
I got this for my 2 yearold and his cousin who's 3. Most of the slides I viewed were very small so even with the measurements I was apprehensive. I also wasn't sure how high quality the plastic would be seeing as Step 2 products are a lot sturdier looking. Well this is just as sturdy and sound as the more expensive ones I passed on, I love it and most importantly the boys love it! The size is perfect! It fits in my apartment beautifully and the kids play on it all day long. The only drawback is that you definitely need a power drill to get the screws in. I waited until the last minute and put this together christmas eve and found out the hard way that even though it "recommends" a drill there is no way you can manually push the screws in with just your bare hands. This part was a nightmare and they should specify you have to use a drill. Some parts you literally have to make your own hole in the tubing which was insane to me. Other than that we love it!
Bought this for my 18 month grandson, who loves to climb. It also has a space beneath it that he can crawl into. Top platform is large enough for him to just sit on. The size is great because it's not too tall so he won't hurt himself if he falls . Seems to be pretty sturdy. Very easy to put together. Can be used inside or out. We looked at several, many were in the $80-100 price range, and felt at this price it would be a good starter climbing toy.
This is an excellent toy and well manufactured. Our one and a half year old grandson has a lot of fun playing on it and keeps him active for several hours.
Bought this for my 2year old grand daughter and she loves it not to tall for her. She can climb and crawl thru it. Highly recommend this to others for indoor use.
This is good for the price. It is very sturdy and went together really easy. I have a daycare so this will be well used by toddlers ranging in age from one to three and so far they all really love it. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because I wish it had a ladder up the back instead of the the toe holes on the side. Toe holes are too hard to coordinate for most kids the appropriate size to fit this slide. most of my kids either need lifted up or climb under the rail on the back side. I like the platform on top so they can get themselves in position before they slide. It prevents them from accidentally sliding with one leg still back or going before they are ready and being scared. I have a rule of no standing on the platform and would never allow small children to play on it without an adult watching closely.
My 3yr. old grandson loves playing/climbing on it. And especially jumping off of it since day 1. If you have a child or grandchild that actually does like and want to play outside if possible,, this is a really nice toddler beginner slide.
I bought this slide for my 21 month old granddaughter. The product is made well, however, it can tip over since the steps to climb up are on the side.
My child is 23lbs. This slide is rated to 40lbs. At this time, it looks like she is about to break through the top when she sits on it. It is extremely light weight. It would be best to find a way to anchor it down. It bliws away in the wind frequently and if my daughter climbs up the side (as it was designed for) it will flip over if I'm not holding it in place. I wish I would have spent the extra money for a sturdier one. This one isn't going to last long.
I was disappointed at the size. It's actually smaller than It looks. My granddaughter is just 2 yrs old and she climbs thru under the railing wihout any trouble. The climbing wall is so close to the ground. I don't think this item should be for 2 too 4 yrs old. I am that by the time she turns 3 she will have completely outgrown it. All that said it is a nice toy for smaller children. Sh eloves to slide down anythingso she is using it.
