The setup took less than 5 minutes you just have to screw on the legs onto the table itself. It holds up to 50 lbs according to the manual, but we left it at a couple of books and some coffee mugs. Simple but useful if you're looking for something small to add to the living area
I wasn't sure about purchasing this item as my living room is on the small side and with the sofa on one wall the table might have ended up in the middle of the room. However, once I got it set up it was actually a perfect fit and sets off the sofa very well. It arrived earlier than expected, which was to the good, and not damaged. Very easy to put together (just screw in the legs). As long as the legs are screwed in properly the table is very sturdy. Just don't over-tighten. Very happy with my purchase.
I received this item in a few days and it was very easy to assemble. It looks great in my small living room
I use it as a entertainment table to put my tv on in the living room! Easy to put together and I bought the matching side table.
Its a very light table, I think its hollow. I really like it because its easy to move when I vacuum & my son uses it to color. We like it & it works well for us :)
I ordered the wood-grain look and am pleasantly surprised. Other reviewers said it looks fake, but to me it does not. It has the look of wood grain with a nice texture. It took 5 minutes to screw on the legs, and it's quite sturdy...and most of all light weight for when Im' vacuuming and moving.
This coffee table works for my needs but it might not for others. It's pretty flimsy if you are using it for heavier items. This has a weight limit of 50lbs. It's not real wood or even close to it, it seems to be made up of cardboard in the middle with plastic on the outside so that's why it's pretty flimsy. It looks pretty decent, unless you were right up to it you wouldn't really know that it's plastic. But like I said it depends on your needs. This happens to work for me because I only set remotes, drinks, and my laptop on it. So for me it's worth the cheap price I paid.
I wanted a rather small and lightweight table for in front of my duel reclining couch. The larger table I had was just too big and heavy. This table was just what I needed. It is small to average size and it weighs only about 12 pounds. I can easily move it to use the recliners or to clean. It is made of hollow-core wood, which accounts for the light weight. It is a parsons style, so it is very plain. I got the espresso color, which blends nicely with my other tables. It took about 2 minutes to put together. All you need to do is screw the legs on. The table seems to be sturdy--no wobbles. I've spilled tea on it and it wipes right up leaving no marks. You couldn't ask for a lower price. You really don't have much to lose when you buy this one. This is not a high-end fancy coffee table. But if you want streamlined and lightweight, this is definitely one to seriously consider. I'm glad I bought it and I'd recommend it to anyone.
You get what you pay for. It's cheaply made, but it gets the job done on a budget and looks cute enough. I would recommend it for college students or those who are just starting out on their own. Also, it was the easiest thing I've ever assembled in my life, just screw the legs on and voila!
No surprise that this is not a piece of furniture that you'd want around for more than a couple of years. There is a warning not to put more than 50 lbs load on the table (not a problem for me) - and I found that the surfaces (top and sides) are very susceptible to scratching, denting etc. We don't have kids or pets but I can imagine that, in an active household, this would begin to look pretty tired after only a couple of months. I'd recommend this for "staging" a home for sale, a seasonal rental, college dorm room etc. Other than that, it would probably be worthwhile to spend a bit more for a real piece of furniture.
