Mainstays Solid Semi Sheer Curtain Tier Pair and Valance Set, 3-Piece, Wine, 54" W x 36" L

These are really nice curtains! Well made! But, sadly, even with multiple layers, they don't cut the glare enough for me. I have to say that I have had cataract surgery and glare is a real issue. So, I would say for people who are not in that situation, the light filtering of these curtains may be fine. If I didn't have this issue, I would definitely keep them! So, while I am returning them, it's not because they are a bad product! In fact, they are a great product! Just know your "glare" situation and tolerance!

Ok, these are terrific curtains priced right. They wash up great! Just like my mother, I never put my curtains in the dryer, I just hang them up straight from the washing machine. I did purchase one that had a goofed up seam but I just re-ordered another and returned the defective one, super simple. Originally I bought a couple sets of these years ago but my cat had clawed them up pretty bad, even after I washed them it was very noticeable. Rather than throw them away I ordered the exact same ones and just double layered them, since they are a very lightweight curtain it worked perfectly.

Wow these are better quality than i expected they would be when i ordered them been wanting to buy at my local store but they have been out of stock for awhile so i decided to order them on here if available and when i ordered these they only had 7 available so i ordered them and was hoping they would match the other grommet panels beige i did find in my local store and they almost match perfect since my kitchen windows are far apart they look the identical color. Grommet panels are so much easier to shut or adjust versus the rod panels. i am glad i switched and also happy with these. they do block alot of the light and give privacy.

Perfect for what I needed and I needed curtains for my kitchen to cover my under sink area and over my microwave area and the valance and the curtains were perfect and they look really beautiful in my kitchen. Thank you.

We love these curtains for our kitchen window above the sink. they work well in the space by adding just enough natural light to the kitchen, while allowing for the extra privacy from the near by traffic.

wasnt sure if I really would like these but since i wash and put them up.....they make my blinds much whiter toned %26 funnily enough the winter darkness in the house really isnt so dreary. i had a burgundy set of metal grommets (same brand and style) I purchased 5 years ago and just didn't want to put them back up. black works!

I received the Mainstays Solid Grommet 3-Piece Kitchen Curtain Tier and Valance Set for free through the Walmart Spark Review Program. First I would like to say that I have purchased many curtains from the Mainstays Brand in the past, and as always, I was not disappointed with the quality of the curtains themselves. They 100% polyester. Not too stiff or not too flimsy and have a nice sheen to them. But, they did not keep the light out very well. I have full sunlight in my kitchen late morning and all afternoon. Also, These Mainstays kitchen curtains are very long (54” x 36”) and did not fit in my kitchen small window space. (I had to overlap the valance over the curtains) to make them fit. These Mainstay curtains are also a bit on the heavy side (possibly due to the grommets) and definitely not for use with a tension rod (which is what I have in my kitchen window) they kept sliding down out of place. So, unfortunately I had to take them down after a week. Which is very sad as I loved the gray color. The color fit in perfectly in my gray and red colored kitchen.

This Mainstay Solid Grommet 3-Piece Kitchen Curtain Tier and Valance Set is nice. I do like it. My only negative off the bat was it seems the bottom curtains do not fall nicely they seem to curl a bit on the sides which bugs me. They definitely do not fall as nice as it shows in the walmart photo for me. I separated the two from the set. I put the valance in my kitchen the the bottom curtains I put on the door inside our garage that leads outside because we have neighbors over there that can see in when they sit on their porch. I like the valance better though as that one falls nicely and it slightly see through so it gives good light into my kitchen. I also love the grommets. I no longer purchase curtains unless they have grommets because number one it is so much easier to put on the curtain rod and number two it just looks so much nicer and more modern. I got the gray ones which the ones in my garage kind of look purple when it's bright out which is weird because they are definitely gray. They do the job that I needed them to do. They did come out pretty wrinkled so I am hoping they straighten out over time because I don't have an iron but other than those few things they seem well made and seem they will last. I recommend because I think the not falling nicely in my garage may be because of the door itself and not the product but I'm not sure and to me the valance in itself is worth it.

The inner part of the grommet is less than 1 inch diameter. i did not see the size in the specs and thought for sure they would be at least 1 inch. im so disappointed i loved the look and the feel of the product but I love the rods i have so I will need to return the 5 sets of curtains i bought.

Wrong product received. ordered 3pc. black. Received 1pc. too long. When I called support they said all I could do was return the piece for 10.00 refund. NO OFFER of sending the correct product. I am disabled and I can't drive! So ordering online was a total loss!!!
