Anchor Hocking 1-Cup Glass Measuring Cup with Easy-Grip Handle and Spout

Very nice measuring cup. Thick glass, well worth the purchase. The only negative was getting the sticker off. It won’t peel straightaway so you will have to submerge it in water or just use and wash to get the paper off. Just nitpicking, this is a fantastic measuring cup

These Anchor Hocking Glass Measuring Cups are great. They are heavy and the measurements are deep red. They should last a long time. The price was the best deal I have seen. I live them and will purchase again if I need them.

Great heavy durable measuring cup! If you are like me and bake a lot, chances are you’ll always be reaching or grabbing your measuring cup again and agin. You need a sturdy cup that the measuring marks don’t fade in the dishwasher and this is that cup! I’ve washed time and time again and it still looks brand new!

I love this big anchor measuring cup! I have a 1-1/2 cup and a 2 cup so this 4 cup is awesome! It has so many more uses with its big size! Always love that they are glass and dishwasher safe. Nice huge handle. It also makes a great little double boiler setup by using the handle to hang over the edge of the pot. Great for melting chocolate and making homemade face creams etc. its big size gives it so many more uses like gravy or even mixing small batches of batter etc right in it, and with its easy pour spout its great for pouring or emptying into muffin tins etc!

The glass is very thick and seems like it is well-made. The only downside is the pour spout doesn’t seem to be shaped completely; maybe just an error when manufacturing? I filled it up to 4 cups and it runs down the side when pouring - that’s the only downside.

I thought I loved this cup when I bought it. A little over 6 months later we wake up to a completely shattered glass measuring cup. We have no idea why and had never put in a dishwasher. Our dishes are washed by hand. It was bought at Walmart in Hickory, North Carolina.

An obvious air bubble in the front wall of the cap. It is very heavy. Is this made to be bullet proof, or if it drops on the concrete will not brake?

The glass measuring cup arrived broken into pieces. The bag had a sticker specifying FRAGILE, but the item was not delivered intact. Nothing used to covered and protect the glass cup inside a Walmart paper bag.

This cup has a manufacturing defect in the glass which resulted in a stress crack forming. I noticed the crack when it grew to about 4 inches long so I stopped using the cup before it completely shattered. My original Anchor Hocking lasted over 25 years of constant use before the measurement markings finally wore off. This one didn't last 2 weeks. Will return.

Picked it up. Brought it home. Hand washed and dried it. Set it on the counter. Six hours later, when about to use it, while standing less than 2 feet from it, it violently EXPLODED ... just like a bomb. It was new, never used, empty, just on the kitchen countertop. Very frightening, and extremely dangerous. Glass shards everywhere in a 15-foot radius.
