I wish the lid had a little more sealant around the inside to keep things fresher but I guess that would bring the price up! I'm still using them though!

I'm a YouTuber and decided to set up a laundry bar for a video. I keep powdered laundry detergent in this. and the other one I put in scent beads. They look attractive and have a nice old-timey look to them like you would find in a penny candy store. They were very well received by my audience. They really love the look of it and I know that a lot of them went out to do exactly the same thing. They're a great size, super sturdy and they are heavy enough that my cats can't just knock them off. The laundry bar.

I love the size. It's perfect to store my buttons in. I'm a sewist and I have hundreds of buttons and these large candy jars are the perfect storage. I love that they're clear which allows me to see what I have. I would definitely recommend. Very budget-friendly!

I am so pleased with this item. It is glass and large and beautiful. I filled it with wrapped chocolates. The price and quality are great. I am going to put foam tape around the inside of the metal cover. I am very happy with my purchase and highly recommend it.

I'm crazy about this candy dish. It's large enough to hold several different kinds of candies. I need to point this out, the lid for this is not sealed. It just sits there and it's easy off and easy on. Which is perfect for a candy dish but not so good if you're looking for air tight storage.

I was looking for jars with a large opening and in a size that could hold a good amount. The design of these jars is perfect. They sit firmly, have good weight and the lids just sit on the mouth of the jars so no tugging and risk of pulling them off the shelf. I got the 2 pack on sale. I had looked at several similar versions of these jars and most were plastic with plastic lids that snap on. I wanted them for our elderly grandfather who has a serious cookie habit. I was concerned that the plastic was not weighted enough to keep them on the shelf while he wrestled with the plastic lid to open it. These sit securely under their own weight and the metal lid just lifts off, so no tugging or pulling. I plan to use the 2nd one for the small dog's kibble so grampa isn't trying to lift of reach into the bag and spilling more on the floor than in the food bowl.

I have two of these candy jars, I use them in my laundry room to hold powdered laundry soap. I've also used them to hold laundry soap pods, they work great for this. My only complaint is how loosely the lid fits. There is no rubber seal, just the metal lid resting loosely on the glass opening. When my washer spins, they rattle loudly. I would not use these for food, as air and moisture can get in.

The lid is too big for the jar so it is not secure at all. It stays on the jar, but it is not sealed. It came attached to the jar with a plastic wrap, which I assume was from the factory, so I think it's just the way it's made. But I don't understand why the lid isn't a better fit. I ordered it as a candy jar for my classroom. It does the job, but I wish it were more secure.

Doesn't seal. I wanted to put my homemade cookies in it. I value Anchor Hocking because they don't have any lead in their glass products. Pyrex has levels of lead high above EPA limits and we got lead poisoning from using Pyrex in many years' past. Now, have only been using Anchor Hocking for 17 years.
