This is the perfect bonding product if your shoes sole detach after washing them in a washing machine. I had witnessed shoe repair shops using it over 50 years ago. This is how i know that the product is good because back then, everything was made to last a long time.
Terrific product! Works exactly as claimed, easy to use, versatile for repairing other items. (I used it to repair 2 pairs of athletic shoes whose soles had delaminated partially; 1 men's work shoe whose sole had delaminated completely; and a vinyl black-out window shade that I shortened by trimming away the excess, then using the Angelus shoe cement to glue the hem around the stiffener strip.) I plan to keep a container on hand at all times--never know when I'll need it for something. I'm also a fan of the Angelus shoe paint. It's the only product that has worked well to cover scuff marks on my white athletic shoes. It produces a very smooth, even appearance so the damaged area almost or completely disappears. It's also quick and easy to use. All of my Angelus orders have arrived promptly in perfect condition. Wonderful company!

Love the product. Only thing I didn't like was when I went to use the product again..I couldn't open it..design a better opening
After a good cleaning I was able to reglue the soles on my expensive work boots. Now they are good for a longer time.
i was really hopeful that this would work better than super glue, but i used it the was instructed to. it held together for one day the whole sole of shoe started coming off , im not that hard on shoes,only wear for half the day, ride a bike with them, i really blame the shoe maker, but this was supposed to be shoe glue, didn't work for either of my NIKE tennis shoes.
I opened the can once then came back to use it, found out the cement evaporares and the stick broken inside
I cannot open the lid of the can.
