Most products meant to protect the front of boots simply don't hold up. The beating is too hard. This stuff looks a little funny (super shiny then dull), has the usual awkwardness of trying to apply a very viscus liquid - but it HOLDS. I'm a full time gardener- after many weeks... yes weeks, a few edges started to lift an 1/8 of an inch for a short stretch. Clipped off lifted bit , apply more goo to area - good as new. Can wear a better, cheaper pair of shoes to work protected with this material.

Use this product alot it's very strong and always holds up for long time. We keep it at our house always

Shoegoo is the Best duct tape of glues. I use it for everything...not just shoes. I have about six tubes on hand including 3 black. Super Stuff!

Used on my work boots (I work in meat processing with lots of water to walk through) to try and patch leaks in the seal around the soles. The Goo didn't last 15 minutes before breaking apart and letting water in. Trying gorilla glue on the soles as well as covering with Goo again, but not expecting much.
