I wish I had discovered this way sooner. I have tried everything on my couch to tackle pet hair and debris and nothing has worked until now. Even tape rollers wouldn't work. This tool is amazing. If you have a pet you need to order one of these today!!!

Ok, I really didn't expect this to work. I have tried so many things to remove critter hair. So many. As someone who wears black and has dark furniture, I run the risk of looking like a yeti if I can't manage the hair. I couldn't believe how well this worked. It pulled hair out of a 25 year old armchair that has been the resting place for generations of moggies. It works on yoga pants. It works on tshirts. It works on corduroy! The hair collects in a little compartment you can empty when your OCD calms down. Pro tip, you have to go back and forth, like a vacuum, rather than just going in one direction like you might with a tape roller.

Initially, the back and forth motion suggested by packaging took some getting used to, as it didn't move far freely. When I rolled over pet bedding and furniture, it grabbed the hair well, but left larger crumbs behind, Although that was disappointing because other methods would pick up larger debris, this is marketed as a pet hair remover. Where it really excelled was cleaning the upholstery in my vehicle. It collected plenty of human hair, as well as pet hair. I love the gadget receptacle, which traps the hair until emptied out. That allows cleaning of more area before cleaning the brush. It's suggested to use a soft towel with water to clean the brush. I dampened a paper towel, which worked well without having another item to launder,

for dogs with medium or shorter hair, this thing is great and works wonders. for long hair and big dogs, it's not able to do all the work itself and still needs assistance. I have a great pyranese and have yet to find something that works well by itself.

This pet hair remover works pretty well. I have used it on furniture, and a cat tree. The plastic feels a bit brittle and at times when using aggressively it feels like it might break. So far it has not. My one complaint is that pet hair does get stuck in the side corners of the roller. Other than that, this is definitely a must have for any household with pets.

I have a cat that loves to lay on my bed and sofa so I'm used to cat hair on everything, and I usually use those tape rollers to get the hair off and they are ok. So I didn't have high hopes for the Chom Chom Pet Hair Remover, but I was wrong. It worked great to remove the hair from my furniture, in just a few firm swipes it picked the hair in a breeze, after using I just opened the back pulled the hair out, and tossed it in the garbage. I did try it on my clothes while wearing and it did remove some hair but not as well as on hard or firm surfaces. But that's fine. I still think it is a great pet hair remover and have been using it almost every day. I highly recommend it.

Removes the fur for sure however the handle grip is too short and just by holding it, your fingers/thumb naturally rest on the “release” button. I had to tie it shut so it doesn't keep popping open during use. I have S/M female hands, so it's not like they are gargantuas.

This item was recommended by a friend, and it does work well. I think it's over priced, it's not perfect but animal hair is a pain to totally treat the problem.

Overall I love the idea and concept of this pet hair remover but it's not as effective as a regular lint roller. I've tried this on our rugs, vehicle interiors. It's too large for crevices of car interiors. I will say it can pick up hair but it does best on flat surfaces.

After trying to use the Chom Chom a couple of times, I think ideally it is meant for clearing large, flat surfaces. Not on yourself for hair removal. It's just to large and awkward. I purchased it for removal of pet fur from clothing. :-( It probably works great on furniture though!
