Anker USB Hub, 4-in-1 USB Splitter, 4 USB-A Ports with 5Gbps Data Transfer, Extender for USB-A Port Laptop, PC, Desktop and More (2ft USB-A Connector, Charging Not Supported)

I was looking for a A to C hub, which this is not. This is a C hub that gives you for the one port you plug this into 4 more ports. This is great for laptops because they typically have only one C port for you to use for all your peripherals (like backup drives, sound boxes etc) so I now use it for the laptop and not my original purpose. I had to get something else for that.

The Anker portable Data hub hooks up to 4 items and I have 2 bluetooth speakers hooked up to the adaptor with my antenna also hooked up to my adaptor for stereo sound closer to my chair without having the speakers full blast.

I was able to connect the hub to my laptop and plug in other devices into those ports. Everything works.

Beware. I thought I had ordered the Anker 1C3A (3-Port 1 out). Turns out this hub is not trustworthy when attaching 4 or even 3 external drives simultaneously. I managed to get 3 attached and working by introducing each one by one, otherwise they either froze, couldn't be ejected or unmounted improperly, potentially causing damage to my external drives. Attaching a 4th is impossible without certain damage. I even called Anker before using this A8309 Hub as it looks and feels very flimsy and cheaply made compared to the Anker 1C3A I mentioned above. Anker told me not to worry they'd perform just fine. I feel fortunate it did not damage either of the 4 drives I connected. I bought two of these and they'll both be going back to Anker. That is all.

When I tried to connect my USB, I noticed it was loose, which made it a bit tricky to get a good connection. Hopefully, I can find a simple fix so I can use it smoothly.
