I like the metal that Anker uses in their products. The build quality compared to other hubs i have is high. For this reason, I only buy Anker products whenever they are available, because they are good products, and happen to be reasonably priced. This worked to help solve my current ports problem. It works well with my Mac and my PC. It's one of the best 8-in-1 hubs that has ethernet for this price. I recommend buying this over other imitation brands. You won't be disappointed, if what you need is just a few spare ports for your laptop or desktop. I haven't used this with my iPad yet, so I don't know if it works for that or not.

These hubs are high quality and reliable for a fair price and it's a brand I trust. I've used Anker products for quite a while and they consistently deliver great designs that are built well. This hub packs and travels easily; I have had one for a while and got a new one for a new laptop. Great product if the ports meet your tech connection requirements.

Great price, %26 quality. Right now I am using home wi-fi, but when I get the ethernet run I will now be able to plug it right in to the hub.

I bought the Anker 8 in 1 USB C Hub adapter so I could expand the ports my devices can plug into (I only have 2 USB C ports on my computer). It works perfectly, I have several devices plugged into it, including a USB C headset and an external hard drive, and all work fine.

Works well and doesn't cut out mid use like my old one.

I would rate it a 5 but I haven't been able to fully test it yet. Transfer speeds, using all the ports, etc. It is a little heavier than I expected but I have a few other Anker products and have enjoyed them over the years. Definitely would recommend!

Decent little adapter. I needed this for a project and it worked great. No documentation so it was a bit rough getting set up but got it working in the end

Please note all, that -contrary to whats said in previous reviews and videos online - this item no longer comes with the carrying pouch. So, if that is important to you, perhaps look elsewhere. Also of note (especially in comparing to its nearest rival): while it has a metalic finish, the hub is indeed plastic so doesnt dissipate heat as well as a metal casing would. And my last comparison: the cord is shorter, and a bit short for me. My initial interaction with customer service was abysmal. This was with Elena via chat. I did escalate however (i wanted help verifying the validity of the unit I'd received) and thus far, am having a very positive customer service experience with Shane, a service manager, via email. If there is a next time, ill definitely skip the chat option. Ive not yet tested port speeds etc but will update my review (if possible) once the service ticket is closed, and I've done testing.
