Anker Soundcore Flare Black Portable Speaker

Nice speaker for the price like the optional bass button and the lights at the bottom are a nice touch

Excellent sound. Purchased the bigger one initially and returned it to check sound on this next smaller size as i wanted BT for my bathroom in mornings. I was impressed with this size. The fact that its chargeable is a bonus because I’ve it in larger spaces and outside. Sound is great everywhere. Im planning on giving these as Christmas gifts.

bought this speaker in augest of 2018, its June of 2022 so its been 3 great years with this speaker, it still works but unfortunately today the power button cover became weak and when i turned it on the rubber around the button tore, i almost couldnt turn it back off, meaning i can not get it near any water again.

It was my first online order at walmart.com and it has arrived so fast (one week before the scheduled date... Great!!) The soundcore sounds so good. I like it. But the only thing is that it lasts less time of what it says here. It says 12 hours and it lasts approx. only 5.

I wasn't sure how I was going to go taking this to the beach and to the pool. But me and my kids put it to the test and it's survived over a year of normal wear and tear lol we love the light features as well. a friend of ours bought the same thing and we actually connected them found out that you can connect up to 4 which is amazing for outdoor parties or indoor surround sound!!!

We’ve been using the JBL Flip 2 which has been wonderful for the price for 3 years But this Flare for the price is way better The differance is the bass I’m sure you can find something better but not for this price If you do write a review and let us know

These are just awesome. Good sound, easily portable, decent design, and a light show to boot. I went back to get a matching 2nd one when I found out they pair with one another... which brings me to my main negative, the pairing process is tedious and doesn't stay. I am having to pair them often. Other light negatives, the power and bluetooth buttons are not easily pressable and having the power button under bluetooth is wierd to me. I would have it vise versa. Lastly, the cover for the aux port is a bit aggravating to open. All that said, the positives far outweigh the negatives.

The performance of the Flare is very good. The only issue I have is when you "pair" the Flare with a device it does not retain a history. To explain a bit if you have paired the Flare with your TV and are using it as such, then you switch to playing music on your IPhone it only remembers the last device. When you go back to the TV the pairing is lost. I would have expected the Flare to remember the devices it has been paired with rather than start all over? I verified with the manufacturer that it does not have this capability...Too bad.

the speaker came defected the audio disrupted after 30 seconds playing and have to turn it Off and On.

I own the Anker Souncore Nano and bought this speaker because I loved my Nano. I was very disappointed when I bought the speaker to find out it was just as loud as the smaller version which is about $30 cheaper. Has great sound quality but would definitely just recommend buying the Nano.
