Low-fat alternative to Nissin Chow Mein

anonymous July 28, 2025

Annie Chun's Yakisoba has a great flavor profile. I would compare the cooked dish to Nissin's teriyaki beef chow mein or most Chinese take-out low mein. The noodles are reminiscent of Thai pad noodles or a rice-based low mein. Annie Chun's Yakisoba is very comparable to a quick option quality Chinese restaurant's low mein. A suggestion: the price should be made more affordable. The package comes with a microwave-safe bowl and lid.

Annie Chun's Japanese style Yakisoba noodles

Carrie December 9, 2024

The Yakisoba noodles in this product are soft cooked instead of dried. So they are quicker to prepare. Instead of using the dried vegetables and flavor packet. I combine the noodles with other soups or sauces.

I love these noodles! They're tasty on their own and even better with added proteins. The dried veggie packet needs to soak in water for a bit before heating if you want a good texture though.

I love everything about this item except the taste of the sauce! The noodles are great, although they need to be pulled apart after the microwave. The container is very easy to use. I will probably buy it again, but I will put my own sauce on it!

Yum

Ashley November 2, 2024

Very nice quick shelf stable meal that can be made in the microwave or with boiling water. Enjoyable alone or add cooked meat or veg to the bowl before heating. I always add some spicy peppers. Yum!

Not my kind of Ramen

RollNQuad December 26, 2025

Robin noodles are just way too thick unless you're into that. I like my noodles thin. Texture and taste isn't all that great. Don't highly recommend them.

NOT vegetarian anymore

Emelia January 15, 2026

This used to be Vegetarian but not anymore!! Please clearly mark on the front of the boxes if the noodles are vegetarian. I purchase these weekly and of course didn't bother to check. Extremely disappointed.
