This organic soup was thick, very tasty and healthful. I had a bowl for dinner and enough to take for lunch the next day! It's a little spicy, but with crackers or a half sandwich it was great.
This soup is really good. It is a comfort food in our house. I did order this online. It appears they went through the shelves and found every badly dented can they had, tossed them in a box and shipped it off. I disposed of 2 of the unopened cans because they were so badly dented, but those that were usable were delicious!
I like to heat this with cheese. It is thick and creamy. Delicious with black chips as a dip!
This soup is delicious. I added grated Mexican cheese when I warmed it and topped it with chopped avocado and chopped green onions. It is also good served as a dip with and served with corn chips. You can also top it with a dollop sour cream.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I never had black bean soup and this is a winner! Delicious despite the summer, it cools down at night and this was a perfect treat for a side dish with a salad for dinner. Great taste, and the quality of ingredients is apparent after the first spoonful!
This is very good soup. I received the correct items. However, the packing should have been better. There were 16 individual cans of soup rattling around in a too large but sturdy (luckily) carton. There should have been some packing material in there to avoid denting the cans. The carton was about twice as big as it needed to be.
what does it cost so much to have something be without something? It's ridiculous how much it cost to take the gluten out of something. this stuff is 2 to 3 times more than Wolf Brand chili because it's "without meat"? I thought meat cost more than vegetables!
We found this to be a bit bland. Lots of ground black pepper helped with that. There are very few actual vegetables in this. It was very separated, a big blob of black bean and other contents floating in about 1/3 can of liquid. Okay so it's a soup and not black bean dip but it seemed strange how separated it was, and took some considerable stirring to blend it in the can so it couldn't plop and splash when dumped into a bowl. We probably won't buy this again.
The taste was not good will not buy again
Love the soup, but could W-M figure out how to ship canned food so it doesn't show up at my door all bent. 4 out of 6 can were bent at the top where you open it. Yes, I could do a return and they would send me 4 more that will probably be dented. I don't want to waste good food, so I'll eat it up quick. I have this problem with the big boxes of cat food too.
