The preparation was a very simple process. I am a noodle fanatic and I love critiquing noodles. These were very much giving comfort food. The teriyaki blended well with the noodles and the water did not make the noodles soggy. I would buy these again.
what I like most about this is that they were actual noodles that were cooked instead of the hard noodles that come in most teriyaki noodle packages
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was so good! It was so easy to prepare and fast too! The sauce is perfect. It took 3 minutes to make. I'll definitely be keeping these in the pantry. Add some teriyaki meatballs or chicken.. This will be unbelievable.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Teriyaki steamed hokkien noodles is a perfect pair to your favorite protein. This would be great with beef, chicken or pork. The sweet and tangy sauce is perfect on the warm noodles. It is really easy to make and is ready in only 2 minutes and it's a large portion that will leave you full.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The texture of the noodles was good, not hard or soft. Easy to prepare and with the sauce it made it a delicious meal. And there was no aftertaste. I would be buying this again. Definitely would recommend
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I will say I was surprised that the noodles were already in a pre cooked state. It was hard to find the water fill line so I had to dump out a lot of the water I added. Which was a little challenging. The sauce was okay it need some flavor. I took it to work with me.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would get this for a quick small lunch! It's not super sweet and a bit savory because of the sauce. From my experience, if you'd like more flavor it's best to coat the noodles in the sauce because when it's hot, it thins out. There's microwave & no microwave instructions, there easy to follow. Tasty, cheap, filling meal.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently tried Annie Chun's Teriyaki Noodle Bowl with the new recipe, and I was pleasantly surprised by how much it has improved. The noodles have a better texture now—chewier and closer to what you'd expect from fresh stir-fry noodles rather than the softer, sometimes mushy texture they had before. The teriyaki sauce is the real highlight. It's richer, slightly thicker, and has a more balanced combination of sweet and savory. You get a deeper umami flavor without it being overly salty, and the hint of ginger comes through nicely. The veggies are still minimal (as expected in shelf-stable bowls), but they add enough crunch to keep the bowl interesting. It's incredibly easy to prepare and makes for a quick, satisfying lunch when you don't have time to cook. My only critique is that I'd love a bit more sauce and maybe a larger portion—because it's tasty enough that you want a few more bites. Overall, the new recipe feels fresher, more flavorful, and more balanced. If you liked the original, this is definitely a step up. If you didn't, it might be worth giving it another try.
Wanted to like these, but disappointed. Noodles were rubbery and chewy. Sauce was tasty but didn't coat/stick to the noodles. Price is fair, ease of preparing was ok - not easy way to open the vegetable pouch, noodle pouch or the sauce pouch. They don't tear and have to be cut open. Overall, I don't think I'll repurchase.
The teriyaki flavor was overpowering. If I bought again I would either add more water or only use half of the sauce packet. Also I would add some protein or vegies. It is a large portion and very filling.
