The octopus has become the object of my huskies obsession! It has made for some good keep away and fetch matches. When I got it, it arrived in beautiful condition. It took one day of surgery (thus the 4 stars) to remove the squeaker and spread the stuffing from the head across the living room area. The legs have withstood the daily high jacking from the three. At night, my female places the octopus in front of her and defends it from the male throughout the night. Somehow, he usually ends up with it in the mornings and then he carries it around throughout the day while she tries to gain possession. One night, It was left out in the rain and got completely soaked and muddied. A quick rinse and it was good as new and back in the fighting rink. I am really surprised it has held up this long! All in all, the octopus has been an excellent addition to the toy box. I would definitely buy it again without hesitation, although it is driving me mad, but they love it.

This toy was listed as TOUGH and would stand up to large dog's chewing. TOUGH? My Chihuahua chewed the stuffing out of it in minutes and then went on to pull out the squeaker! It's a cute toy, but it is just like some other soft squeaker toy, except it fell apart faster! My little dog destroyed it in less than 5 minutes!
