This product is worth the wait!! my river cooter tuetle tank is, i think, 40 gallons. i put approximately 20 gallons of treated for turtle safety tap water in it. i feed her turtle sticks and pellets and some fresh veggies, just to give you an idea of what may dorty up the tank. i add a gallon of treated water every 2 days, due to evaporation. i do a patrial water change every 3 to 4 weeks. The water was becoming very green and difficult to see through so i tried this product, adding some every few days. after about 2 weeks, one morning the water was crystal clear! i wish i had thought to take before pictures but i only have pictures of the results to show you. Please know that i felt like a bad turtle mom for as green as the water was before but you must give this product a try if you feel the way i did!!

I have 2 tanks I have used this on. A 10gal and a 5gal today is day 3 of the first treatment and the green algae is already brown and the water is so much clearer. The measuring device only has a 5ml and 10ml dose level so I used a medicine syringe for the low doses. 10 gallon tank requires 1ml and the syringe worked perfect.

I use 3/8 tsp in a 20 gallon aquarium once a week and it controls algae great. I dilute it with a small amount of water and pour it into the filter. You have to make sure you do not exceed dosage and that there is an air stone operating. I have 2 large fantails. They show a very slight sign of stress for the first few hours by gulping air, but that quits quickly. I tried a popular cheaper brand which doesn't help much because it says to use at the first sign of algae, That defeats the purpose of keeping the aquarium glass and water clean to start with.

Sometimes you can't help it if algae start growing in your tank. That's why I use the Algae fix each time I do a water change or ad water. Follow the directions, you only need a small amount for your aquarium. It works extremely well. :)

Reading some previous reviews, stated that this product had killed some fish; i did not have this problem, but you must follow directions precisely.

The picture does no justice really. The rock was heavily draped in green algae. I actually liked the green color on it. I just was trying to maintain a clean tank because I don't like the sight of algae eaters. Ths product does a really good job. Too good!!! Everything in the tank was clean over a matter of time and the fish are still alive. Great product.

I never received items that I was charged for 3. In fact. Including 2 pounds of hamburger, 90%. Very disappointed There is nowhere that you can look on. The app for refund returns or not valid with a chat AI.
