It's great for streaming your movies and shows on non-smart TVs and older devices older, flat screen, TVs and out of date laptops not the best for gaming, your mobile games, quicker responses, and better image than casting, but still a slight delay when trying to play a shooter or a basketball game. Hope that helps answer any questions that may have been left out of the description.
After about 2 week of use the product would no longer provide signal or picture without constantly having to adjust position of lighting cable to iPhone
This does not let you stream your paid services like Netflix from your phone to your TV. It's only for nonpaid services like YouTube. I even own and have downloaded movies to my phone through movies and more and I'm not able to even play the ones I own. I have a generic that does the exact same thing and I bought this one because you're supposed to be able to stream paid services through it but it's just as trashy as the generic one.
somethings wrong with it%26 been oractically since we got it ..%26 just keeps getting worse. hoping we can exchange it its only a week over the time i bought it
It did not work with Disney and it did an Ok job. I am glad I had bought it on sale. I don't use it often. I have to place it a certain way or it won't connect so half the time it doesn't work but when it does work it does a fine job. It's frustrating getting it to work. Maybe I received a faulty one. If it worked I would be using it a lot.
Flaky connections.most of the time there's no audio onTV. Then I get no video. Restarting everything is hit or miss to make it work. I went with genuine Apple to assure compatibility but this thing is very poor and unreliable to connect my iPhone and iPad to TV.
Does not do what anybody who would get this, would get it for. Just simply won't play any of my streaming apps through my TV using my phone. Just get a smart TV or watch it on your phone because you will not be able to plug your phone into your TV and watch things from your phone on your TV with this.
It doesn't work. The iPhone didn't recognize it. I had recently bought the official product from Apple that was highly discounted (which worked) and thought this was the same product. It was not and, while it does pass through power through the lightning port, it is not recognized by the iPhone as an HDMI adapter and is essentially worthless.
Bought this adapter for my off the grid %26 on to go trips for my son to hook up his gaming units yet we were not able to connect to our tv unit. A message kept appearing fail communication %26 licensing issue. So we had to return it. There are other avenues to mirror image or connect to smart tv's such as Airplay %26 others try these avenues before you buy this expensive unit but just because it didn't work for us doesn't mean won't work for your applications.
It took too long to get here when it finally did. It was melted. It was supposed to be a paste.
