The pencil is a genuine Apple Pencil that connects with a USBC type charge and it works perfectly. But, if an excessive amount pressure is added will cause words, or lines to come out with swiggly. Which is a minor issue that can be fixed by changing the settings. So, If you’re looking for a new actual Apple Pencil this is one.

Excellent touch and accuracy! Cannot beat the real Apple Pencil for use with your iPad. Love it. I've used it daily since purchase and would buy another right away, I don't know what I'd do without my Pencil. My kids love using it to draw, I use it for work notes and illustrations everyday. I bought this and i love it. Definitely the best budget apple pencil. It is amazing with the a16 iPad. The accuracy is good, touch isn't to bad, I have not tried it for artwork since I am not the best drawer but the battery could last you all day without losing power.

Works really well with my 10th gen iPad for editing photos, taking notes, scribble. didn't need touch sensitivity so no issues for me on that feature.

So the feel of this pen is amazing however if you have certain tablets, you can’t use it at all… you have to have a usb-c to usb-c connection to pair it so if you have an iPad that uses the original lightning cable, it will be useless.

I bought this as a brand NEW item. It stopped working after a few months — past Walmart’s 90-day return window but within Apple’s one-year warranty — I took it to the Apple Store. The Apple team member told me that the WARRANTY EXPIRED LAST YEAR and advised me to contact Apple Care. After looking up the Apple Pencil by serial number, the Apple Care representative told me that the item I purchased as new is actually USED/REFURBISHED. I contacted Walmart.com customer service and was told there is nothing he could do. I asked to escalate my call and to speak to a supervisor. Ali asked me with whom exactly I would like to speak? Ali told me to take the item to a Walmart store and I should be able to get help there. Instead, the front desk team lead at the store treated me like I was pulling a scam. She insisted that I must’ve purchased refurbished item. I pulled up the order on the Walmart app and showed her this product description as a NEW item. Rather than try to help, she was rude and condescending. DO NOT BUY APPLE PRODUCTS FROM WALMART.

I bought the apple pencil usb-c along with an iPad a16 for the purpose of drawing, as I’m an artist. Maybe it’s my mistake for assuming that this pencil would have pressure sensitivity (like every other model does), but the Walmart listing for this pencil also states that it is for drawing amongst other things, so I honestly feel like I’ve been mislead. Pressure sensitivity is non-negotiable for a majority of digital artists, and I genuinely can’t wrap my head around why they would include tilt sensitivity but not pressure sensitivity. I’ve no interest in the gen 1 pencil, and the gen 2 isn’t compatible with the iPad a16, so I’m now going to have to return the entire iPad along with all the accessories I bought for it. I couldn’t imagine spending $70 on what’s basically just a fancy stylus. If you’re buying this to write/take notes, you’re better off just buying a basic stylus for $10 or less. Honestly, this entire experience was my last straw with apple and I’ll no longer be purchasing any new apple products. What a huge disappointment!
