Aqua-Tech EZ-Change Replacement #3 Aquarium Filter Cartridge, 6 Pack

I have been working with aquariums for about the last 23 years and I have chosen this filter as my go to filter. One of the appealing facts about this filter is that it lasts and holds up well! I have had as many as 13 aquariums at one time. When you have that many aquariums, you learn to be conservative. I do not throw away the filter when it gets dirty. The filter holds up so well that I can remove it from the tank and take it outside and rinse it off with the hose and sprayer. Works like a charm!! The carbon will no longer be viable but I have carbon inserts. The old carbon inside the filter still has a purpose though. Since it is porous, the beneficial bacteria can colonize in it. After washing off the dirty filter, it goes back into the aquarium. I love the fact that the company uses a high quality mesh fabric that holds up so well, time and time again. Other brands will tear apart. The fabric on this filter still filters out particles and gunk out of the water and keeps the water crystal clear! The filter is very easy to change or rinse. When a tank is beautiful and clear, it is a pleasure to have one. But when it is mucky, it is an eyesore! This filter has my 100% approval rating! The manufacturer may not appreciate my saying that the filter can be used more than once, but they make an extremely good product. I sincerely hope they never change. One other tip is that you can take a dirty filter and put it in a new tank and you have a foundation for a cycled aquarium. So the filter pad serves yet another purpose. I will always use this filter as long as the manufacture keeps using the high quality mesh that they have been using for years! And yes, I highly recommend this product. Filters are always pricey in small quantities and why I don't buy larger quantities... I have yet to figure out. Aqua Tech has been our go to filter for our Aqua Tech filter system. They have a long lifespan and we have sometimes rinsed them to extend their life. We have a 20 gallon tank, half filled, with a 2 year old red slider, some minows, a crawdad too smart for the turtle to eat and a couple muscles. Our water always stays clean. When the flow slows down, we know it is time to check the filter. Assembly... there is none. just follow the simple directions. 👍🏼

I have been using this product in my 55 Gallon tank for years. It keeps the tank clear and fresh very well. I will continue to buy them. A simple rinse to remove loose carbon and it qyickly slides ribht into water pump.

I just so grateful that I did this filters for my 120 gallon fish tank , it keeps my aquarium so clean that I'm so happy and pleased that I did this purchase. And the price was the best price I ever had in a long time from other places. Thank you.

Been purchase this item for years. Last long and clean. I have 2 30 gallons tank for my goldfishes. They love it.

I started using these when Walmart stocked them in Walmart %2371. Unfortunately they no longer stock them here

A little expensive over the long term, but it is what fits our Marineland filters perfectly. I have tried cheaper versions before and I can't really say we notice a huge difference in water quality.

Ordered online because the store near me does not stock them anymore, was supposed to get 4 of the number 3 six pack and I got two of the %233 3 pack . I guess basic math and numbers is out the window or just simple verification of orders and common since is gone at these places . The review is about the product which is great but the ordering and people doing it is trash!

Disappointed, the box was damaged. Looked like it was ripped open I did think nothing of just someone was making sure I had the right stuff. when I open the box it was only half a box someone took 3 out . I used curbside for pick up. I had to go in to customer service and they refund me my money thankfully the cashier did a wonderful job.
