This is my 1st 10 gallon fishtank and I loved it, because it came with a heater, filter, large fishnet, and samples of food and water conditioner. Very good price for all this, $77. The filter is really nice because it's quiet and seems to put-out a gentle flow. The water is hardly moving, without a lot of current, which is better for the fish I have. I'm excited to put 10 guppies in it soon! (A lot of reviews complained about too much glue inside the fishtank, but I didn't notice that problem.) I definitely recommend this fishtank!
fast shipping good quality
Item was exactly as described. Shipping was fast and the tank is running without issues
I'm happy with the tank it was well packed everything came fine
Great fish tank!!!
Everything was in the box correctly
The good things: All the items listed were there. Aqueon power filter is good, slightly noisy. I have a 5 year old, next size larger Aqueon power filter on my 29 gal. tall tank. Still going strong. Strip thermometer is very accurate. Just fair; The heater works fine except it will only heat to 75 degrees in my 10 gal tank. (permanently set for 78) It is a steady 75 degrees. The worst part was the 10 gal. tank. I did not even put water in it because I saw other Aqueon 10gal. tanks (not as a kit) in a pet store and there was "night and day" between the 2 tanks. My tank came safely in a plain cardboard box that got my attention! What I found next was the silicone sealer on the glass, and top and bottom frame work was sloppy looking. i.e. like a 4 year old applied it. ONLY my PERSONAL opinion and NOT FACT-- this appeared to me as not a genuine Aqueon built tank. Again ... Only My Opinion. With all that silicone applied, I believe this would never leaked though. The saving grace was the Walmart C.S.R.. He was VERY accommodating to my displeasure and refunded money back to my card with NO hassles.
i ordered the 10 gallon tank .I recieved the 5 gallon tank. i am not satisfied with it
Never received it!
The glass has scratches on the outside of one side. They are deep enough to catch a fingernail on and are unsightly but they don't appear to be a structural issue. The tank is holding water now so we'll see. I put that side toward a less visible area and partially covered the scratches with a temperature strip. The filter was cracked from the waterfall going into the tank up and over to halfway down the filter holding area and around where the motor is attached. I glued everything back together and it is running without leaks for now but I don't trust the glue joints; if they give out it will make quite a mess. Because of the damage and because the filter is way too loud for my taste I'm going to use it as an emergency backup filter and buy one that is quieter. It's obvious that the damage to the filter and the scratches were done at the factory prior to final packaging. All in all, I'm rather disappointed with Aqueon.
