[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not only do these look awesome but they're very functional! Our beta fish love to swim in them and take naps it seems like! They look very pretty and they help keep the tank clean without a filter. I highly recommend these for betta fish because they are soft on their pretty flowy fins. I will definitely keep buying these! I got them in purple and blue. Going to get the pink next and mix the colors!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] just got these today and my betta loves them he is having a blast playing and swimming through these he has been very active hopefully they will not shrink on me as i have read that they can shrink if you have hard water but so far so good you can barely see them in the water they just look like blue blobs here and there
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I mixed a few in with my regular ones to try out. I do like the benefits they claim (beneficial bacteria) to help their environment. I can't tell if my fish enjoys it but as a fish owner it's worth a try.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I never knew betta beads were a thing before last week. It may have been a nice treat when I had 3 betta fish. After a 25% water change last evening, I added the beads to the tank. While my betta fish has ignored them, my tetras & snail love slouching through like a ball pit. The overall size is large enough to prevent the fish from eating it, which is a plus and relief. The added bacteria and enzymes will help maintain a healthy tank with so many sharing the space. You will need more than 1 bag to cover the bottom of a 5 Gal tank. If you have a filtration system, the water is going to push most of beads in the opposite direction.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We just got these because I was curious about how well they clean the water for our unfiltered Betta tank. These look SO COOL in the water especially with our Aqueon edgelit tank! We will be repurchasing these for sure!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the purple ones and they look super neat and neon in person. I would love to use these as ‘gravel' that would look super amazing but the amount of bags I would need is just too expensive especially since they degrade and are suggested to be replaced every month. So I just sprinkled them on top. I don't honestly think this is something I would have purchased without cashback inventive, but they are interesting to have.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These Betta beads are a fun addition to our Betta's tank. The jury is still out on whether they are actually beneficial to it's environment, but they do add lively color. I'm hoping it will aid in maintaining a healthy aquarium, but for now my Betta likes to investigate them and “play” with them.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This looks pretty cool in your fish tank. I haven't used it long enough, but I'm always scared the fish will try to eat it or something. I've had fish that would try to eat the pebbles but spit it back out cause it's a solid object. Hopefully these won't get eaten as they get smaller. I would probably take these out once they become "bite sized" I also noticed that the websites say that is 12oz, but the bag says 8.8oz.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think it's pretty cool there is a color variety. I bought something similar to what this does, but they are clear. My lil betta seems to think these are fun to push around in the tank. He seems happy and my tank looks clean and healthy. Worth it for your little fishies!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have like a 1.5 galloon tank for my male betta fish which seems like not enough room for the entire bag of beads. I put them in after changing the water and they were kind of a pain because they were bouncing everywhere and then when I put the water in, they floated around fulling up the whole tank. Just me walking with the tank would make the beads float all around. I also have bamboo in my tank but the beads didn't have enough weight to keep the bamboo stalks in place, so I eventually ended up mixing it with some of the gravel and removing some of the beads which worked a lot better. Sometimes I would catch my fish resting his fin on them but he usually just chills on his bamboo leaves. I think the product is cool, but not for me or this tank.
