This blue package is terrific! Bought them multiple times in the store. Didn't see them in the store recently, and purchased what was there in it's place (package is different but it claimed to be original, product has an unpleasant aftertaste. ordered online for delivery, very hopeful to receive the original blue package with the delicious beef sticks. Very disappointed with the delivery. Item is not the blue package. at all. it was the same orange package like in the store with the unpleasant product. The original (as pictured) is good. Bait and switch with ordering. save your money - they aren't identical to the blue.

I’m not sure what happened!? These were mine and my son’s favorite beef sticks, but the last package I got was not edible! They were lighter in color and taste funny! I couldn’t even chew one bite! They were not past the expiration date, so I hope this was a fluke!

They changed the recipe. My kid used to love these and with new look came a new recipe. They’re very different and I’d even say spicy but overall not good. My kid took one bite and spit it out so I checked it out and it’s nothing we’d eat. Unfortunate since these used to be comparable to chomps but now they’re like a cleaner but gross version of slim Jim’s.

This used to be a snack we replenished weekly for our household. However, in recent times we’ve gotten a lot of sticks that were not air tight suctioned. Since they weren’t packaged properly they became gummy greasy. I can’t even stomach to look at one anymore because it was so yuck.

I bought three different brands of jerky sticks because I wanted to start keeping protein snacks at the ready. I'm giving this 2 stars because it is a small step above Chomps in my opinion. I found this brand to be slightly less mealy than chomps and about the same on flavor. There's a reason Jack Links have been so successful for so long. Jack Links blew Chomps and Archer out of the water in all categories.

Rebranded Package – Definitely Not the Same We loved the original Archer beef sticks in the blue and black package and bought them many times. The new packaging claims to be the same product, but the texture and taste are completely different, and they seem much greasier. Sadly, we won’t be buying these again—very disappointing.

I have these religiously since last year as a quick protein snack to keep in my bag or after swimming... They have completely changed the formula because I received my new bag today and as you will see in the pictures they look completely different... very greasy and I had to verify a few times that it was the same brand. in the pictures I put the new one next to the old one which is the blue packaging. So on the left you will see how the new ones are red and greasy and how the other ones looked. I do not recommend these anymore and I will also be reaching out to the company to let them know they should have left it alone. They took a healthier snack and turned into a greasy nasty mess.

I normally like these, but this time they were a very different color than the last ones/all the ones we've ever gotten. We had one left and compared them. They were very light and looked like turkey. We have since bought a package to see if the formula had changed and the new package looked the same as always. We had to throw this bag out out of fear of eating them. They were nowhere near the expiration date so we don't know what was wrong with them.

What Happened to These?! These used to be so good, but now they're straight-up nasty. Every pack I opened was greasy, mushy, and looked old. The sticks are all different sizes and some even looked moldy — seriously disgusting. I don't know what they changed, but they need to fix it fast because this is not the same product it used to be. Total waste of money.

These were our all time favorite snack until recently they do not taste, look, or feel the same. They taste greasy with a terrible texture now. It's so upsetting. I attached a picture of the difference. The new beef stick is on the left, the old version is on the right.
