Architectural Mailboxes Elite Galvanized Steel, Medium, Post-Mount Mailbox in Black

Well-made mailbox and definitely a huge improvement to my old one which someone knocked down and crushed. I really like that it is made of steel instead of plastic like so many are nowadays.

Nothing fancy, standard size replacement for my hail damaged box (Paloma Creek South). Unlike other reviews, my door latches fine.

As I expected. Sturdy Not flimsy thin sheet metal. It's still there and I put a cover on it. Installed on the 4th of July. However, it has not been hit by a baseball bat yet!

The box is well made and was very easy to install. It took my grandson a tad longer than normal - we had to cut new wood to create a platform to attach to the post so the box had a base to sit on. The older wood was completely rotted out. This box was very reasonable price wise.

Such a nice long lenth steel mailbox! Hardware wasn't included but I just used screws I had laying around. Easy to put on the old wood post my elderly neighbors previous mailbox was on.... Kids destroyed their old mailbox with a drive by bat beating unfortunately 😕

You need to check for dents and scratches carefully inside the store. I have bought dozens to paint and decorate. And have had to return many. So now, I check, but don't have any control over the ones shipped. However, there is no problem returning, but it is a pain, especially when you have to wait to get started.

The item was delivered on time and in good shape. However, note the ground is slightly wet. I noticed the delivery lady quickly put the item on the ground and leave. The screen door does not lock. She should have taken the extra step to place the item in the Lanai/Porch where it would be protected from the light rain!

ordered a new mailbox because mine was damaged after being hit by the mail carrier what I got was one in worst shape then the one i had already and a scratched car cause the shipper through it on the car hood

Item arrived damaged. The product was not packaged to prevent it. Seller responded quickly, but would not pay for a return and only offered a 20% refund of my money. when i scoffed at that offer, they wanted to give me 50% of my purchase price. I have ignored them.
