I bought this for my cat who has stomatitis. I only got this because it's like a tenth of the price of the medicine I usually give him which wasn't really working much or at all so I wanted to try something else. Its only been a week but I've noticed that his breath is already so much better and he LOVES this stuff. When I started givjng this product I also stopped giving him his previous medicine and brushing his teeth daily (instead a few days or once a week) just to see how well this product works and so far everything has already improved a lot and so much more than when I was giving him expensive medicine and brushing his teeth daily for months. Everytime I put some in his water he instantly runs to it and drinks a lot of it. I expected it to cause him to not drink as much water but it's done quite the opposite. I've always had issues with trying to get him to drink water but as soon as I started using this he's been drinking at least 3x what he usually would in a day which is amazing.
price was right. my dog goes into kidney failure because of his heart medication sometimes and the best way to combat against failure is electrolytes. This has Arm %26 Hammer Baking Soda in it, which helps restore electrolytes balance. You can add 1/4 tsp. baking soda to 8 oz. of water and have a simple electrolyte drink for anyone. Including your dog. This stuff does have other ingredients I'm not comfortable doing alone so thank u Armee Hammer 😉
received today, started my dogs on it. They are young dogs, eight months old, so they don't have a lot of dental issues at this point. Hopefully it will do its job. It's odorless and tasteless so the dogs drink it in their water with no problem.
Definitely think it makes a difference in dog breath. I add it to their water bowl and they don't seem to mind. I'd add it after water is added to bowl if you do it first and then add water it gets foamy.
I just bought this a month ago and I've been adding it to my dog's water every morning. it freshens his breath but I'm not sure about the tarter yet it's only been a month but it does work for breathwise...
Trying this and so far, my dogs don't notice any difference in the taste of their water. I've tried brushing teeth and its always a struggle with my 3 little dogs. But dental cleanings at the vet's office if extremely expensive, especially with 3 dogs. So, I guell I'm hoping for miracles with this.
I have been using this in my dogs' water bowl for a few years. It really does seem to help. Their teeth were yellowing and they look better now, their breath is fresher. Can't say if it prevented a dental cleaning, but there was a noticeable difference. They do not seem to notice it in their water and drink the same with or without.
This works well for our dog. Better breath and whiter teeth. This and brushing his teeth have helped over all.
Spoke with my vet about my 11 yr old Pom's dental with my vet. She was familiar with this product and had no issues with it except it tended to be better at preventing rather than cleaning. But yes, it works. So if m using it in conjunction with 2 other products. My Pom doesn't even realize it's in his water. So no pickiness. As part of a more comprehensive plan, I recommend.
This is okay if you want your fur babies stomach cleaned out. They drink too fast for it to effectively clean their teeth. But it does stay in their stomach and stuff.
