Armor All Ultra Shine Headlight Restoration Wipes, Automotive Headlight Restorer, 6 Count

The product comes with 4 oxidation removal wipes and 2 UV Sealant wipes, enough for two headlights. The temperatures have been at or below 40 degrees, so I researched whether it would be affected by the low temperatures. My research confirmed what it said on the box, that low temperatures or high humidity would make the UV Sealant take longer to dry (normally 3 hours). My passengers headlight looked like the BEFORE picture on the box. I was afraid that it was fogged up inside rather than oxidation. Before I started I taped around the headlight with painters tape, as they recommend because the Oxidation Removal Wipes will damage the paint. Following the warnings of skin contact, I wore plastic painters gloves. I used 2 oxidation removal wipes and could see it improving as I worked. The directions don't mention how long to wait before using the UV Sealant, so I waited a little over an hour to make sure the headlight was dry from the oxidation removal. I applied the UV Sealant and checked a number of hours later. The Sealant was dry and the headlight looked like new.

The ultra shine headlight restoration wipes another great product from armor all. I have a 1998 jeep grand Cherokee and the headlights were so oxidizes I had a hard time at night seeing the objects in the road. I really didn't think this stuff was going to work but I figured what do I have to lose and I knew armor all was a good product from past experience so I gave it a try and was I surprised, it was so easy to do. I just followed the direction on the package, wipe it on and then used the sealant to finish the job. I can't say enough times how happy I was with the results, and how much brighter my lights are at night. this removed 20 years of oxidation in just a small amount of time, if your looking for a product that will get the job done, this is it. recommend 100%...

I had the opportunity to pick this as a sample for review. To be honest, I was a little skeptical at first. I've never used this product before and I didn't know how it was going to restore my car's old headlights. When I received the product, the box contained 6 packs of wipes. There were four of them labeled "step 1" (you will use 2 per headlight). There were two of them labeled "step 2" (you will use 1 per headlight). The entire process took me about 30 minutes (15 min per headlight). Also, they recommend 3 hours drying time afterwards. So pick a sunny day to do this. The directions were fairly simple: Step 1 - take the wipe out of one of the step 1 packs and apply it on the headlight. The instruction says keep applying and rubbing until the residuals lighten up. It also says do it at least 2 minutes and change to another step 1 pack wipe. This time, do it until no more residues on the wipe. My tip here is start with one corner and go around the edges first and make a complete circle. Then work on the center. The wipes are already folded when you open them. But I folded it one more time to make it smaller and easier to handle. After I finish one round, I would use the other side of the wipe. Anyhow, it seems it took me about 6-8 rounds per wipe. Each time, you'll see a haze on the headlight. Just don't get discouraged and keep at it. I will finally clear after using both wipes. And then, I applied the step 2 wipe (which is a sealer). And like magic, your headlight will almost look brand new....really shiny! I couldn't believe it. Anyhow, I've included the pictures here. I think they speak for themselves. I am so pleased with this product, I'm going to buy another box and do this on my wife's car. Definitely would recommend to a friend!

I've been skeptical when I've seen products that claim to defog your headlights before so I was anxious to see what Armor All has come up with. This kit consists of 6 wipes: 4 for deoxidizing and 2 for sealing. I was a little put out that I had to mask the paint of my car before using this product, but I reluctantly got some painters tape and taped around my headlight after washing it. I next used the Defogging Wipe as instructed and wiped it across my headlight and was amazed to see how it picked up the oxidation! You are supposed to continue to work until no more oxidation clings to the wipe (which you keep folded and then turn over to a new spot that is clean). It might have taken 5 minutes. Then I wiped my headlight with a soft, lint-free cloth. I began to get skeptical as I saw the entire headlight fog over again as it dried but there was no more oxidation that had come off on my wipe so I continued following the instructions. I then opened the Sealing Wipe and began to rub it across my headlight as instructed. As soon as it's contents touched my headlight it became crystal clear! It was amazing! Then you are supposed to let it all dry for a couple of hours. When dry it was still clear! You can even see my reflection within the headlight from when I took to "after" picture! I'd highly recommend this product. My only concern at this point is how long it will last or will I have to repeat the process again sometime in the future.

This Ultra Shine restoration kit is by far the best I have ever used. If you have used those kits that come with different grain abrasive sheets and have had to scrub and scrub. Not only once but sometimes 3 times with different abrasives. Its lots of work and it also takes the surface off your headlights speeding along the need for replacement. These wipes are very easy to use and cleans headlights better than anything I have ever used. The UV protectant is superb and also easy to apply. You will never go back to the old fashion abrasive headlight kits! You would be crazy not to try this product!

I would highly recommend the Armor All Ultra Shine Headlight Restoration Wipes, it gave my headlights hope again! Made my mini SUV beautiful again! It was simple and easy to use. I read the directions on the pack, followed them and I was done within 10 minutes. Only downfall is it takes 3 hours for the UV Sealant Protection to dry but it is worth the wait! I got my headlights from a junkyard (because I was a car accident 2 weeks ago) so I was in need of this because a car wash didn't work for the lights. I have no complaints, just wash your hands when you are done using the products.

Great product, and easy to use. The Amor All Restoration wipes work great on my headlights. I have a 2004 pk- up truck and the headlights were dingy and yellow. I had my doubts that this would work. Second option buy new headlight assembly. Too expensive!! So I rolled up my sleeves and applied the Amor All Restoration according to directions. LIKE NEW AGAIN!!!

l think this kit was too old to do a good job. The wiping cloths were almost dry. i would not recommend this product/seller at all. However, my son used an old box he had bought at Goodwill which worked perfectly for him.
