Arriba! Medium Roasted Tomato Salsa 16oz

This salsa the only jar salsa my family of 6 will buy. It has a great taste. It is very authentic without being tomato flavored like many jar salsas. Simple ingrediants without chemicals or sugar. My family loves it best cold. It is not the cheapest salsa, but well worth the extra price. Not available in many stores so it is a great option available at Wal-Mart. My sister and I even give it as gifts to each other since it isn't always in stock.

the best salsa...hands down!!! often out of stock so that should tell you something. this salsa is AMAZING.. best salsa i have ever eaten, so far, in my 47 years on this earth.

I purchase one mild and one hot and mix together , for me its perfect that way.. tried this brand once and haven't used anything else..

We don't normally buy salsa from a jar. I prefer to make it but I don't always have time. This is by far the best salsa I have had so far. Very authentic. We love to mix it with avocado and make a guacamole sauce with it. It's really good, you should really try it.

Found this in San Antonio in 1993. Can't find it anywhere near us here in Michigan. We order it by the case. Awesome flavor and just the right heat. The "hot" is too hot for me only because it masks the awesome roasted/smoky flavor. The "mild" doesn't have enough zip. I am not a fan of the typical tomato sauce/paste based salsa you seem to always get out of a huge jar in your average restaurant. This stuff is waaaayyyyy better!!! Try a jar, you wont be disappointed.

I used to buy it in my local grocery store. When they discontinued it, I couldn't understand why. It was almost always sold out there. Anyway, I can't find anything local that even comes close so I buy it online now.

3-4 Stars ok.. I guess really it is selective salsa. We all have different taste palettes. Ok taste

My complaint is that it tastes nothing like it was described. It doesn't taste terrible, it's just totally tastes exactly like old PACE PICANTE SAUCE. Which I don't really like. But It does not have any roasted flavor at all, and no cilantro flavor either. It really tastes super tomato-ey, just like pace-picante; nothing at all like the jar describes. Again, if you like Pace Picante, then get this one, and pay a bit extra. If you buy it by mistake, thinking it will be nice roasted salsa... then too bad. But there is a trick you can do to make it a bit more enjoyable --> Add some dashes of liquid smoke, then throw in a slice of american (or velveeta)cheese and microwave it for a minute. Then dip with chips. After doing that it actually does have a bit of roasted flavor (smokey) and does taste better with cheeze warmed up.
