ARRIS - SURFboard SB6190 32 x 8 DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem - White

For a while at least. With "gigabit" speeds still in its infancy, this modem will carry your current loads with ease. Should you ever decide to increase your speed through your carrier with this device, it'll be no problem then either (because when do we ever get the ACTUAL speeds we pay for, right?). Before upgrading to this model, I owned another surfboard from back in its Motorola days. I used it for 7-8 years with no problems whatsoever. I imagine I will get just as much if not more from this one.

When I ordered this product I ordered based on 2 re-occurring themes. 1 was that the product performed well and 2 it was easy to install. I installed the Modem myself and since I have two left hands a normally easy thing to accomplish is generally difficult. I was pleased with the ease of installation. The second is performance. The modem works great.

Replaced an older modem that I was having issues with dropouts. I have Comcast xfinity, replacement was as simple as hooking it up and letting it connect. Then going to Comcast website to activate. Have had this about 2 weeks, works perfect with no dropouts and faster downloads. Could not be more happy. Highly recommended!

This modem is the best because it has highest top speed ever is 1.4gbps but for now my speed is at 150mbps with power bost so I will get higher later on from cox cable so it will match to night hawk router with wireless that has 6 antatana and top speed is 1.3mbps so the range I did test it it's far about 30 to 50 yards out so that's strong I never had so both would work great together this way so the choice is up to you ok

I purchased this video specifically because it's white. I needed a white one because my connection is above my fireplace mantel in the living room. While the modem is white, the power cord is black, which is awful.

In the event, I realized that I purchased a wrong item , however I could make easy return and no stress out of cancelling the sales .

Buy your own and it pays for itself in 4 months. Save money and buy your own.

Purchased this item and spent over 15 hours trying to get Xfinity to make it work, all they did was point the finger at manufacture. Contacted the manufacture and they told me that the issue is Xfinity. The manufacture and Xfinity need to get together and fix this issue before selling this garbage to people.

The item I received was used I want a brand new one. The box had no labels. There are no instructions and you can see that the cords have already been unwrapped.

the ad stated this modem was okay for charter cable after hours of troubleshooting charter stated this modem was not compatible with their system I do not recommend for charter cable who supplies their own modem for free.
