As Seen on TV Firm Queen Bed Pillow

I am sooooo glad to have another one of these. I had one for years when they first became popular. One of my children begged to take it on a week long field trip and accidentally left it in the motel room. I was so upset. I loved that pillow. This one is exactly the same. I was afraid it wouldn't be. If you are looking for a soft squishy pillow, this is not for you. This is a firm, stay in place pillow. Much like a feather pillow, only better. And without the allergens. When you first lay down you can hear the beans rattle or move. But once you get comfortable and still, you won't hear it anymore. I do like to use a slightly thicker pillow case or double them up because sometimes you can feel the sharp edges. If you love a firm pillow, this is for you!

I buy this pillow from time to time as a gift for my sister who has asthma & allergies & can't use other types of pillows Personally, I find this to be rather hard & uncomfortable, but my sister swears by it. If she likes it, it's good enough for me. The only other issue I have with the Sobakawa is it can be hard to find...especially in the larger size (it comes in 2 sizes & my sister prefers the larger size) The fact that Wal-Mart carries it is a huge help. They ship quickly & shopping charges are always reasonable.

I've used this pillow before. I still love it! Very comfortable to rest my head on. I have to use my arm under my head with a normal pillow. Only drawback is the odor but that is slowly going away. Make sure to get a pillow protector when you use it.

We have had standard-sized buckwheat hull pillows for several years. My husband likes a firm pillow; I have allergies (mold, dust), and can't tolerate feather pillows even in an allergy cover. I tried everything in the "foam" area, then ended up with a buckwheat hull pillow, too. We bought a camper to use as a "lake place" and decided to move the old pillows to the camper, and treat ourselves to new ones. The place I'd bought the old pillows from had their website down, so I found this different brand, same thing only larger, and at half the price. We've had them for a week, and are very pleased. They are a little "crunchy" when new, but as I recall this doesn't last long, and is only noticeable when you're settling in. We added pillow covers to make cleaning easier.

I have been using Sobakawa pillows for many years. Since I traveled for work, I slept on many other kinds of pillows in hotel rooms. Absolutely none compared to the rest I received with my Sobakawa pillows. Now that I'm retired, this set of pillows is for our RV so I don't have to keep taking lugging the ones from our bedroom back and forth. Once you try Sobakawa pillows, you will never want to use any other kind.

Do you want a thick pillow or a thin one? Only the Sobakawa can be both. In the middle of the night, I can subconsciously give the pillow a push to bulk it up. I get it EXACTLY how I need it to support my head and neck. Whether on my side or on my back. This is the best pillow I've ever had. We have them at home and at my mother-in-law's. If we take a road trip, the pillows go with us. We use an additional zipper cover that we can remove and wash to keep everything fresh.

So glad to have finally found a real buckwheat hull pillow. This is a VERY heavy pillow and if you have not used one before you will think you are putting your head on shifting granules, BUT, once you adapt to it you will realize how well this supports the head and neck, lets you shift and punch it around for a perfect fit, and is much cooler than any other microbead, or poly-pillow I have tried. Again, a very heavy pillow but gives much better custom support and stays much cooler than any other pillow.

I ordered this expecting to have a box that was advertised. Instead I get a bag and a piece of paper stating it was the pillow I ordered. To top it off it had a hole on one end. I did not want to wait for the slow return process, so I fixed it myself and kept the pillow. There is a slight chemical smell from the pillow, so it may take a day or two to air it out. Once all is done, it is a good pillow.

Other than being a little over priced in my opinion, this is a great pillow. The smell is a little overwhelming at first but get s better with time. Now with the negative out of the way, it really does help with the problems of every day pillows. No more numb ear, sore shoulder and neck. I can sleep soundly for 5-6 hours and not be stiff or sore when I roll over or move around. I've noticed when using a regular pillow I don't sleep as good. Thanks for a good product.

I ordered it online and when it came in: did not come in original box, looked used,and stained, plastic on it was ripped. Took it straight to the returns and got my money back! Don't Waste your time and money on a re-used item! Funny part was the return lady looked at it and was grossed out too! Very disappointed due to all the Great reviews about it. Guess I will never know if it's a good pillow or not.... Sad!
