This is a perfect replacement for the one I had before, that my idiot e through out not knowing what it is and thought it was trash!! But , it works perfectly for us tall heavy set guys that can't really reach way down to our feet and the handle thing also works GREAT to peel off the socks, later!!!

I don't have to bend over to get the sock over my toes. It gets the sock on almost all the way. Some final tugging is required. The only minor problem is the importance of lining up the heel of the sock correctly.

This was a gift for a friend with hip problems. She reported back to me that it was wonderful, though a bit tech-challenged it took her a little while to put it together. Once done, however, she was very happy with it and so was I for helping her.

Bought the sock slider for my husband and it works fairly well. Appears to be well made. Husband says he is keeping it and it sure helps to get the socks on but still has to pull by hand a little bit. I think with more practice it will work better for him.

my f.i.l. is 83 uses with reg socks and loves it.. My cousin had hip surgery can't work it at all he s 59.... and with compression socks .. NO WAY.. need to be gadget savvy to work it.. I m 60 couldn't get reg socks up where should be.. needs better instructions

I bought this for my 94 year old mother. Small person. Small feet. This sock Aid has no adjustment for socks that are for small.

idea is good, design not so much, instructions hopeless, quality even less so. I have trouble fitting sock onto gadget, yet more trouble keeping gadget in place whilst inserting foot. With outside help it works but help might as well put sock on for me. Bought mine on in store sale at just $3, not worth the gas to return.it for that

This thing is very hard to work. Especially if you are over weight. its made out of cheap plastic. Even when I tried to remove my socks, the handle would bend. I'm very unhappy and would not recommend this to anyone.

Had a hard time putting the sock aid together and when I did, it was hard getting my compression socks on the sock aid. I could not get the sock all the way down from the top to the bottom of the sock aid. The aid to help pull the sock up and help take it off kept bending because it is plastic. There is no sturdiness in the product at all. It was not easy at all to try to put my socks on or take them off. After trying for about an hour I gave up. It was a complete nightmare.
