Good headphones for a good price.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received these quickly, they worked great with the xbox, no set up required. Fit my head and my sons head comfortably. Mic quality was noticeably improved by friends online. Had them for about a week and the microphone fell off. I contacted logitech and they promptly sent me a replacement item without any fuss. Broken set still work, just require some tape to keep the mic in place. Very pleased with the replacement product and the service provided to get it taken care of.
Works for what I want it for
The Astro A10 Gaming Headset Gen 2 offers a decent audio experience for the price, which is why I'm giving it three stars. The sound is clear enough for competitive gaming, and the mic quality seems perfectly adequate for in-game chat—I haven't had any complaints from teammates. For basic PC gaming, it does the job in terms of performance. However, the major drawback is the build quality and materials. They feel distinctly cheap and plastic-y. The headset has a very light, almost flimsy feel, and I'm genuinely concerned about how well it will hold up over long-term, regular use. The ear cushions are fine for short sessions, but they don't breathe well, and the overall fit feels a bit stiff. It's functional and the sound is acceptable, but I wish Astro had invested a little more into making the materials feel more durable and premium. It's an okay budget option, but temper your expectations regarding longevity.
My headsets mic fell off and dangled after about like 2 weeks of ownership this is the first set of astro A10s that have failed on me almost immediately usually they last me about a year.
WARNING ! GET THE OLD SCHOOL A-10s THESE ARE SO CHEAPLY MADE AND THE WIRE US NOT AS THICK . YOU WILL REGRET GETTING THEM .
This is not worth 59.99 i do not recommend the sound is not that great and i have an echo when i speak or when theres noise. To long of a cable and wire not very durable. Only thing i say good about this headset is comfort. This feels like a 25$ headset no 60
I used to only buy A10s, but they changed their design but kept the hefty price tag. This headset is NOT worth $60, or anywhere close to $30 for that matter. The headset is cheap plastic, and though its a comfortable fit. After regular use, I've noticed that wires will come loose inside, or the speakers will slowoy fade and the headset will drop in sound quality. Ive bought 3 pairs, and all have done the same thing. I'm never using A10s, ever again. I'd rather buy a Rig headset, at least the price tag makes up for the lower quality.
Wife bought me these for Christmas and not even a week later the mic went all limp and just fell off. Never been mistreated
