My bf loves it and he's more into super competitive gaming .
i got this to replace my older Alienware. So far it runs balders gate 3 withiut ang problem on some pretty high graphics settings. RDR2 ran on ultra beautifully.
got this to play MSFS 2020 and other sim games. this machine pulls through very good on good details..i havent pushed it to its limits yet but it looks like it can take the load. it would've been nice to have more RAM memory but they can be installed later as well. the glow light setup amazing too..but you also have to get corresponding keyboard/mouse to do the same. the keyboard/mouse this comes with are just basic and will serve as an extra backup pair in case you r keyboard/mouse gives out. other than that.. this is very gaming PC.
I have had this PC for 3 months now. This is my first PC and i feel it was a great option to start out with. I did upgrade the ram and added another ssd. It runs most games at the highest graphics settings. I do plan on adding another fan to the case, but it does very well on cooling for only having one.
Good processing power and quiet fan, great top of the line graphics card and nice lighting. Can add up to 4 more SSD drives but no dedicated space for them No space in the box for adding SATA hard drives or DVD drives. and one slot for additional PCIe accessory.
I waited until Black Friday to buy my first gaming PC and got this at a deal. As others have stated, it can be loud when playing games. I was going to upgrade the CPU cooler and add more fans, but do not want to void the warranty. Other than the sound, PC runs great.
Tower did not come with all cables. I received the same exact tower a month ago and received all cables needed, but when this one came for my roommate, it did not contain the display port cable so I cant hook it up to the monitor. Tower itself runs amazingly but you may not get all the parts you're supposed to.
The problem with all ROG Strix (or all ASUS PC with same case and similar cooling) is the cooling is so bad. Go research yourself on All the websites selling these PCs. Every single one has the problem. Playing CS2 makes the CPU temp to 85 C. The stock CPU and case fan are useless and the case fan is so loud. Only wish I knew before I bought it. I installed the Peerless Assassin CPU cooler and the CPU temp dropped 30 C to 55 C. I am waiting for the new Arctic case fan to arrive. The problem I have now is the CPU cooler is half an inch too high, I can't put the glass panel back on. It is not a problem for me, but may be someone else. I believe they have been using the design for many years. With older less powerful CPUs they can get away with it, but not with newer gen CPUs. With so many complains online, I can't believe the manufacturer has not updated their design. My recommendation is buy it only when it is on sale, and prepare to spend money to upgrade the cooling right after receiving the PC.
I in the end never got my product, I did the digital signature because I work all the time, just wanted to make sure I would actually get it. In the end both Walmart and FedEx didn't help me because of this , over a technicality someone got my $1,380 PC purchase for free. I lost $1,380 but somehow I feel like they called me a liar.
Unfortunately, this PC has crashed nearly every game I've played. When running correctly, it's FPS quality is amazing. The fans are a bit loud, but keep the machine fairly cool. Not sure if I just got a bad singular part, but nothing has resolved my issues. Returning for a refund and looking elsewhere. Posted a couple pics to show what was happening in Diablo.
