ASUS USB-AC53 Dual-Band USB Wi-Fi Adapter

The WiFi card in my Microsoft laptop died. It was not possible to replace the WiFi card and my only option was to buy a new laptop. Someone at work told me about USB WiFi adapters and it is a game changer. This little device saved me a lot of money. And it works great.

Really just needed a quick economical solution to do Miracast screen sharing as the computer didn't natively do that. This worked very well for that purpose; can't speak to actual internet connectivity as we don't plan to use it for this.

Super easy installation. Worked as expected and better.

For values worth it worked well enough untill i got a faster one and using Ethernet cord and it is worked out well doing business with your company ty👌👍😀

All 10 boxes were clearly opened indicating either used/refurbished or "open box" items which was not listed on the item page. 1 was completely dead on arrive and is not detectable on a laptop. 4 units are "loose" and 5 units seem to be in okay condition. All the boxes received looks similar to the provided photo.

Absolute GARBAGE!!! First, NO instructions or anything on how to install this ASUS USB-AC53 Dual-Band USB Wi-Fi Adapter. NO driver to get it functioning, NO info on where to get the driver, just a single part in a small bag as shown in the pictures. Second, you have to download the driver from the ASUS website (had to google for a while to find this) . Then, after downloading the driver %26 getting it working (ONLY works on USB3 ports NOT on USB2 like stated in description) boosted my WiFi from 55Mbps to a whopping 73Mbps on 2.4ghz. Gets real HOT too. Will try it on 5ghz but not too hopeful about better performance. Probably going to return it. STAY AWAY FROM THIS ONE!!!!!

This is a fake product. It is not ASUS brand. I recieved it and it came in a ziploc packaging glued to a peice or cardstock where it is very obvious that it was printed off someones personal computer. Also the actual usb you can clearly tell that someone scratched off whatever was on the hard black plastic and added ASUS on it. THIS IS A SCAM PRODUCT!!!! DO NOT BUY!!!!! You are not getting what you paid for!

I tried this USB Wi-Fi Adapter in 2 different computers they were so slow. When I did a Speed Test it took so long just to get started, then a very long time to perform the Speed Test. It must have been used is my only guess.
